Smangus, home to nearly 3,000-year-old giant cypress trees, is Taiwan’s most remote indigenous village and the last one to get electricity. It’s also famous for being the only Taiwanese village left to share the workload and profits equally among residents.

Talking about Taiwan as if its your domain as Chinese (and by chinese its culturally assumed only to be "Han") honestly isn't the best look when it was us who took over the territory from the indigenous inhabitants. when are you guys gonna grow some balls and talk about Han chauvinism

May our Lord, Jesus Christ, watch over you and keep you. Every day, I know He is smiling down on his children in Smangus. I can't wait to visit one day.

Are these the real indigenous people of Taiwan, not the traitors who escaped from China after losing the civil war, claiming to be Taiwanese?

Yep, some of the original Austronesian groups of Taiwan (and descendants of the original Austronesians, for that matter!).

Yup, these people are aboriginals of Taiwan. Not the facists that escape from the mainland.
