So they'll downgrade a violent assault - and yet they upgrade for a man with a camera... 😠

Wow. "You have a camera, therefore I'm going to talk down to you". He's got his own bloody rules, made up as he goes. Please hope that he never writes laws or the interpretations. What an obxoxious t*at! If you've been attacked, tough..if you have a camera they'll be there straight away. Good luck with the assault stuff; sounds like more and more people are defending it. Potential embarrassment for them.

Mr morality policeman was a bit condescending. He mellowed a bit when he heard your story and seemed a bit concerned which is good though. I genuinely believe its not against the law to run over a bus stop full of nuns. Thank goodness the police are happy with that and won't take action against me...

"But again, just because you have the right to do something, that's not a reason as to why you do it." Well, he's doing it. There's nothing to stop him doing it. Get your head around that. e: it's also amazing to me that he says something like, "There must be a reason for [dropping the investigation." It's called corruption, you numpty!

Just remember, this is a guy who says "yourself" instead of "you" which as we all know means he's big! He's a big man! He's big and clever and official. Because "himself" says "yourself" instead of simply "you" right? BTW when you say "I don't answer questions" - don't answer any questions. As soon as you do, you then go off on a question answering spree. Everyone does. They're trained to do this, so rain yourself to not answer any. Practice it with friends. Your wife whatever. You have to refuse *all* questions, only answering with "what did I say about questions?" And "I don't answer questions" - then continuously *ask* questions. Only offer information of your own volition. Always. Just a tip. BTW my own solicitor told me to do this. Never answer a question. Not one. He sat and used all their techniques to get me to answer to simple questions and chastised me every time I accidentally did until I'd gotten into the habit. It's an essential tool.

He’s definitely modelling himself on Will McKenzie from The Inbetweeners. Luckily he’s got plenty of time to pontificate as fortunately there’s no crime locally he could investigate or prevent. Imagine going on holiday with him!

17:20 There is a reason why the police NFA'd it so quickly. A security guard vs an auditor. Security will always be seen as the victim by the police with the auditor the instigator. And security will nearly always get a free pass. Especially if they are ex-police.

10:55 That is weird. Two people having a conversation with no sign of any aggression or animated body language and other constables approach to give assistance. Do constable approach any pair of people having a conversation and check if they are ok. I know many would love to have a constable on every street corner to catch crimes. Maybe they need a constable every 100 yards to monitor our conversations and ensure no hurty words or wrong words are used.

8:47 What a contrived hypothetical example. Police love using hypotheticals. Yet if the public use one in a conversation with a constable they will always say that they only go on facts and what they've seen.

18:30 Using a camera is legal anywhere except prisons and courts. Even police are told to switch off their body cameras in such places unless they are attending a emergency. You can even record when looking through a window of a residential home. The crime of voyeurism has nothing to do with the camera. It's the act of looking for sexual gratification that is the crime. Now a camera could be setup to point into a bedroom window and record, but the crime occurs when the voyeur watches the video for sexual gratification. The camera in this instance is an indication of the intent.

Yes there is a reason, very rare occurrence when the police will back up a camera person. In their eyes your camera is always the problem, no matter the circumstances, so therefore the camera person is always the aggressive one. 😭😭😭😭

Constable you are not living in the real world. Yes it's awful. So how about doing something about the bad policing. I do think he was surprised that police close cases and don't even let the victim know. Yes the police can be very irregular. Yes its odd. Which is why police aren't trusted by the public. 😎

12:40 I think he was realising he wasn't getting anywhere with his copsplaining and gaslighting so you talking about your case allowed him to change tone and calm down. It also got the subject off filming which he knows zilch about into something he was more comfortable talking about.

23:50 It doesn't matter what you might have said. It never gives the security guard a reason to attack. He is only allowed in law to use force in self defence. Doesn't matter if he "genuinely" believed he was allowed to attack. It's still a crime with no mitigating circumstances allowed. Ignorance of the law is not defence either. For the police to say that they believe the security without getting any evidence to back it up is piss-poor policing.

Jesus that guy is a nightmare. Then again, what exactly is a nightmare? There are different strands of what a nightmare could be. There could be bad nightmares and ok nightmares. Then again, how can a human being be an actual nightmare when one is physical and the other is mind. Oh actually, he isn't a nightmare afterall.

5:40 Gaslighting. Victims come into the police station via the gates meant for staff only? Really. Maybe they're being brought in in police cars. In which case whats the difference between a victim and a alleged criminal. Someone in a police car, sitting in the back, not in uniform is always going to be assumed to be someone has been arrested. As for the front foot, most people entering will be answering bail or collecting seized items or going for a voluntary interview. Who goes to a police station to report a crime when it can be done via 999 or 101. Especially when police stations are being closed.

I'm confused. You say the incident was NFA'd, but later, say the security guard said something in court about his actions. Was it NFA'd, or did it go to court? Genuine question, not trying to call you out. Just seeking clarification (if you want to offer it)
