The charter with those ladies, did they charter the vessel and then employ you as Captain, or did they charter the vessel knowing you were the Captain? Interesting comments about Lagoon interior noises after so many Lagoon owners are finding interior bulkheads cracking and warping from poor structural design and workmanship. …the Lagoon you were skippering may have been flexing because of problems. @IgorStropnik

If it is possible to go on you wait for better conditions. If not than I put neoprene, fins and mask. Knife on rope attached to my wrist. I put rope around my waist to attach to boat. Hi Igor Great video. Saw the 52 Lagoon also. Both are great videos. I've put a deposit for a 50 Lagoon. I was supposed to pick it up this December, but had to postpone it to next year. I see that you were impressed how the 52 sails. How would you compare it with the 52 for sailing? I would appreciate your opinion. Cheers Gordan

For me 52 is much better boat than 50. And it sails better. Take the strongest engine they offer and take yanmar.

The comparison to the 450 I believe was all wrong, if you look at all the 450's which has suffered severe structural damage due to cracked bulkheads and faulty design by gluing poorly instead of fibreglass tabbing of structural elements. I heard all the creeking going on during the passage and that is not a good sign. The boats internals moves and produce all this noise. Would own a Lagoon. When all that is said i enjoyed your video and would have loved to sail with the master chef!
