That’s awesome! What else could you do with ‘bulb over Ethernet’ other than knowing the hours it’s been used?

@@yrazvi many other things: dimming, grouping behavior, alarming, connection to HVAC and blinds system (BMS), add sensors of any kind to leverage on the luminaires' grid in the building, generate Data, create hotspots. All can be managed via PC, app, web etc. PoE is simply the technology (IPv6) but usage can be really anything.

Does anyone know how to get hold of the team that worked on 'The Edge'? I'm writing an essay on the building now and really need to ask a question or two!

Can anyone share a link for a research about the fact the speaker mentioned at @9.53 (30-40% of desks in building are not being used)? Or at least some website where this fact is mentioned too...

Retrofitting on existing homes is very costly to homeowners. Calculated at 50k euro per home which incurs heavy monthly repayments through bills from providers or annual property tax. Many people will loose their houses and forces into stack and pack accommodation. What a sad future for our children.😢😓
