Korea is Number One for Education Worldwide ... SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!
@krnpowr
@krnpowr 10 жыл бұрын
Only an ignorant person would say that. A more appropriate assessment would be that Korea's education system is number one in multiple-choice test taking preparation, but completely devoid of any development in analytical skills or critical thinking development.
@krnpowr
@krnpowr 10 жыл бұрын
YFLOInternational No idiot. They placed high on the PISA, which is a multiple-choice exam. That's all Korean students are taught to do- do well on multiple choice exams. So your statement stating that Korea has the number education worldwide is just idiotic, like you are.

It amazes me how some Asian countries; particularly S. Korea is able to merge technology with everyday life so seamlessly.

true but you can have darker people to grow rice and pay them with software earned money.

It's the 21st century, you can import food. Also it is better for countries to produce high end products like software and machinery than primary products like cabbage and potatoes. This is why South Korea is a rich country. But at the same time you still have to maintain some form of farming industry just in case, but I doubt South Korea could feed itself, unless everyone goes back to farming (poor).

+M240DAD 338 The farmers live overseas in countries better suited to the mass production of food. This food is then exchanged for products which Korea produces more efficiently. Classical Economics FTW.

I'm full-Japanese (American of course). I think South Korea (not the North) is an amazing, vibrant, and up-and-coming world power. However, I noticed that people always try to side with one or the other over discussions of which nations are better. In the end, you can never really understand the issue between the countries unless you are of such an Asian background. That being said, avoid your final thoughts on the countries until you've actually immersed yourself in each culture.

After watching this documentary, l realised that 2 decades ago South Korea was a poor nation and now that small country is neck to neck with Japan. The USA helped them during the Korean War and look at them now, other countries are working for a better future and what are we doing here in the USA beside playing politics?

Let's be fair about objective about this. Your comment is only minutely true. Both Korea and Japan as well as China fought the western intrusion at first with mixed results, but Japan chose to open up to the West and learn from that and use that basis to initiate industrialization. That was wisely done. Had Korea done that early stage and modernists beat out the conservatives, Korea would have developed a lot earlier. In any rate, that blame falls on Korean leadership at that time.

Korea is not as a good country as Japan as of now. But it will be someday. It's usually the Koreans who bicker about Japan. The comments you see from Japanese here are reactions to how Koreans always lie about Japan. But antagonism against Japan is not Korea's own invention. It is due too much to Korea's historical inclination toward China. But I know for sure that the next generation Koreans and Japanese will be very close.

l'm living in the supposedly "Greatest Country" on earth and l don't have a cell phone, why is that you asked? Worry about paying bills on time, job not paying enough, keep my head above water, keep a roof on top of my head, car payments, insurance, kids... ln these hard days, if you've $50 you must think between buying stuff to please yourself for 1 day or put food on the table for a couple of days and it hurts when you hear some guy saying "l bet you $10,000 on this..." like it's $10 for him.

Wow, you people are pathetic with all the arguing Let's clear this. Japan is more developed than South Korea, yet Korea has a thriving economy unlike Japan's economy which didn't grow much in the last two decades but it's still huge. Korea might be at the same level as Japan within not so many years. Korea has faster internet and prettier girls, but Japan has better food and more unique culture. I prefer Japan but South Korea is a great country too. So stop fighting and hating! Peace!

i'm at loss of words...germany made so many european countries (esp Eastern European countries) suffer during 20th century..just like your ID your comments are pointless. Japanese and Koreans never got on well due to the historical conflicts between them and also b/c japan never acknowledged their wrongdoings and apologized to korea while other countries did so. However, there are some Japanese today who acknowledge their wrongdoings and apologized to Koreans which means they know they did wrong
@Xentradi97
@Xentradi97 11 жыл бұрын
Actually it's Japan's govt and right wing group bicker about past history issues that inflames the issue over and over again. Had they just apologized and be quiet about the issue there would be no bickering from Korea. Abe even retracted the apology by former prime minister and labeled comfort women victims as prostitutes. When the govt head is doing that, you expect no repercussion from the people? And what about all of anti Korean rallies in Tokyo?
