My dog somehow jumped over my door (the top of it was cut off because we were taking out the door)and got onto my bed where I keep my plushy‘s(or as he sees them chew toys). I have a loft bed thats not touching the ground (bolted fully to the wall with 2 pillars under it just in case) I have a ladder on the wall in front of my bed he did not use it and now the plushy‘s I waited 1 mounts to get here for are now in the trash 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Gus knows physics. He placed the pool in front of the door centered, learned that pushing doesn't work, so pulled instead, saw the thing wouldn't fit as positioned, so turned it to fit. He adjusts his tactic as needed all the while determined to succeed. People can learn from Gus.

I had two sweet gangsters too 😅 Our beloved dog crazy Daisy was a mix of St Bernhard and a big munsterlander a german hunting breed. She was a giant baby girl with almost 100 lbs... She tried so often to open the fridge but she don't get it - alone...Then our cat Bear stepped in... His paws were smaller so he could open the door of the fridge... Daisy's time came again cause we put a big sack in front of the door so they can't open it - that's what we thought... She pushed the sack away without any problem... If the door was open a little bit Bear climbed inside and threw all cheese, sausages etc. out and they ate together 🤣🤣🤣

Dogs definitely have problem solving skills. My dog wanted to take her rawhide chew toy in another room. But the bedroom door wasn't open wide enough to get through with two inches of toy sticking out either side of her mouth. I watched and did nothing. She put the toy on the floor, then opened the door wider with her paw. Retrieved the toy from the floor, and took it to the living room.
