Perfect timimg for the weekend - always enjoyable! For anyone interested: The drawer pull is called a "Lauf-Streif-Kippleiste". About the, if not the simplest drawer slide you can make and a minimum requirement in finishing your apprenticeship as a Carpenter here.

Instead of the distributor block with threads I'd recommend using a simple barbed 3 way (brass) T-fitting for hoses. It's not only cheaper, but even more importantly there are no leaking threads, because there are non to seal in the first place. If the hoses are in the clamps on the wall, the piece is also easily held in place by them, no need to mount fitting itself to the wall.

I personally like to use soap and water in a spray bottle to check for air or gas leaks under pressure. I'm also finding I really like the new self-locking push-to-connect air fittings. I had a piece of air hose here while back that would not seal up, so I ordered some push-to-connect style fitting and hose.

Love the drawer solution! Phenolic-faced ply is way underutilised, there are loads of applications for it. UHMW strips too - I think they're very common in industry/process engineering, but I only ever see makers using the tape, or sometimes offcuts of chopping boards. Really low friction, really low wear, really cheap!

Marius, Always good to see another video of yours is available to watch! Especially like the new compressor line run you showed us. AND the drawer slide build. I’m definitely going to look into that kind of wood but prices for wood here in the USA have gone crazy! So I’ll have to wait (a long long time). You said Toolify was one video channel you like and watch most often. But his latest video was 4 years ago. Am I not looking at the right Toolify you mentioned?

Hey, a note on your 3d printed gasket. A great idea and may be helpful when you need one quickly but a lot of these fittings are designed to seal on the threads, not the shoulder of the fitting. A common example is NPT fittings (tapered threads). Not 100% what fittings you have there but please stay safe!

If something gets under the drawer, is it possible that the back of the drawer could lift and catch on the top rails preventing you from pulling it open? Since I never overstuff thing into drawers I'm asking for a friend. :)

Yes, that could happen, but not to this drawer, since the only thing underneath it is the floor.

0:26 Are those your homemade leveling feet? How did you make them small? I've seen your videos of the big ones, but these look and probably work differently...like where will the bolts go on the drawer? Add a base?
@MariusHornberger3 жыл бұрын
They are not the same. It's only a bolt with a hex-shpe 3D-printed pad clamped on the bolt head. It gets directly threaded in the wood where I cut threads into

Well seeing that you complained about metric units im just gonna assume youre not from germany, so your input about that is pretty worthless. A masters degree in germany is well worth it in most circumstances, especially because here one doesnt pay ridiculous amounts of money for it.
