Every You Tube creator is asking his or her viewers to support them. If I put a link up would they support me? After all I was in a work accident in 2013 that has left me with a permanent disability. Try living off on $1050.00 can per month then I will understand creators asking for support. Sorry to sound like a a**hole but I am pretty sure you make a ton of money from You Tube with the subscribers you have.

That was very nice of the bandsaw blade manufacturer, cutting bowl blanks is quite abusive to the blade.

The good thing about wooden squares is that they are very easy to true up if they go out while metal squares are pain in the behind to fix.

Thanks for making this video. I got the Festool CSC SYS 50 (systainer saw) 1.5 years ago, which has a small sliding table. That feature isn't very common in the US, so it's nice to see some examples of modifications.

Very cool video! A huge thing that hit me as I was watching this was the time vs. money problem. If you don't have money but you have time this is an awesome project. If you have the money but not the time to build this.... yeah just buy a fixture table and get back to work. Lol. Again, great tutorial!

Practice walking the cup. You place the cup of the metal and wiggle it back and forth. Also, just lay the wire down and wash over it instead of dipping it. You do great work and shoot for excellence.

I think for your dream of untapered rollers you could try a mechinal tracking system or better still an optical system with basic electronics driving a small stepper motor, keeping the belt on track to a fine margin realtime, this could potentially simplify some mechanical aspects, could also make replacing the belt even easier.

Very cool projects ! IMHO you should reverse the lock cylinder function such, that it works like a safety air brake. With no air pressure applied it should be locked - by a spring force. To unlock, the air cylinder should overcome the spring force when you want to move the table.

I LOVE stuff like this - tinkering and whittling away at optimizing a tool that gets used. I built a lathe bench out of stacked 2x lumber and a cantilevered motor to drive the lathe and got carried away with reversing switches and routing wiring, etc. but USING the result was gratifying. I also built a car out of an Austin-Healey and a Chevy engine and transmission; I think it is hard to explain to others the feeling of driving down a road in a car that you engineered, welded, wired, and assembled - it's incredibly satisfying - particularly knowing all the things you learned in the process (in my case, how to weld, and how to assemble an engine). GREAT video; very creative - thank you.

76 euros if you add to this amount the cost of working hours, equipment, supplies and electricity, the cost of a bakery product will easily exceed 1,000 euros.

Marius, the precision that you put into almost everything is exactly why people like German engineering so much. I think I would have made a jig that would clamp to the drill press bed to drill the holes. This would allow the same level of precision with much less work. May not make as good content though. ;o) I will have to keep some of your ideas in mind when I go to make a table for myself. Take some of your ideas and mix with my flavor of insanity and whala ;o)
