Where does it pull air from? Assuming it comes through leaks around rhe garage door? But what if the garage door is tighly sealed? Might need a baffle intake somewhere.

Mostly leaks around the garage door. In a space that is super tight- I would recommend make-up air. it does create a negative pressure so when the door to the house opens- air comes out of the house and not from the garage into the house.

The main issue it for garages that have materials with VOC's in them. When the door to the house opens they could enter the house. The fan creates a negative pressure in the garage so the fumes stay in the garage. The car fumes are not great to inhale even if the CO levels are lower.

The need for reactive ventilation for attached garages. If there is something specific you were looking for - feel free to ask in the comments and it will be addressed there.

I generally recommend that the wall between the house and the garage have all penetrations sealed and that a closed cell foam is used to ensure no air transfer occurs. The fan is a great idea. However, I don't know if 10 minutes is long enough. I would almost prefer to use a smart switch and have it turn on for 5 minutes every hour.

I agree on sealing the wall if possible. I like the negative pressure in the garage so fumes don't enter the house when the door from the garage is opened. This all works if the HVAC is balanced inside the house. There are so many ways for pollutants to get in so ventilation needs to be designed to be balanced.
