Smart Fence Maintenance + Repair | plus parts list

We use A LOT of Smart Fences from ‪@GallagherAnimalManagement‬ in our grazing operation with goats and sheep.
We've been using them for the last 8-9 years. We love them for the ease of use for grazing. But like any piece of equipment on the farm they require maintenance and some occasional repair work on normal wear and tear (or farm induced damage 🙄) to keep working.
I'll cover some of the basic repairs in this video - which is how to replace the wire, taking a part the reels, re-threading the wire and putting it back together. There's also a parts list included part way through the video.

Sure I can do that - I'm sure I will have more to fix this season-- (just from seasonal wear and tear since we've had them for so long)

Did you just tie and burn the ends for the knots? I bought my smart fence and it came with a knot. Didn’t notice until I went to reel it up. Fence has been up for prolly 2 months. So doubt they’d be willing to do anything about it. But I def don’t want to restring it anytime soon. 😅 But can’t get that knot to go through the reel

@@amberwhite6086 I just tied it tight so it was small enough to pull through the reel openings with a little maneuvering. But restringing wasn't as hard as I was thinking it would be- so when you decide to tackle it :)
