Hello fellow Vinny !!! Amazing series dude, car looks mega 👍 I seen something similar to your “smartbusa” once whilst I was at a local track in the UK, one thing I noticed which may be something to consider was on the front side of the shifter (so palm side) he’d rigged a clutch lever, long story short, you couldn’t downshift without pressing the lever with your palm first, after speaking with him he told me that he’d even set the force that was needed to downshift higher than the force required to operate the clutch lever, thus making sure the clutch was engaged before the shift happened, I just thought it was really cool and wanted to share it with you 👍👍👍

Nicely done. You have seen the parts and sensors that you need on hand. I know of a channel or two that always seem to burn up spark plug wires and crank sensors. Those two things seem to alway go out on track/drag cars

I watch a couple of vids and read blogs about turbo Busa, and for now, I just don,t know on which stage I want to push this engine. 500hp seems like a lot, maybe a happy place could be 300hp...to me, it's gonna be more than enough for the size of the car. 😅 I'll reduce the weight of the car if I have to! 😁

I started to think then you said turbo..... and you now keep up with Porsche 911S- so the diffrent thing betwin a Smartbusa and Porsche at this time is handealing, BUT if you can get more downforce on the Samrtbusa , maybe even drive away from the Porsche in the corners and turns! AND YOU MUST INSTALL A ROLLCAGE, not for your saftey 😉, but I think you wife and kids want you around a little waill longer! So the change of faan did the casting better? Hey Tony! Even with the new fan, I still hate that machine! 😅 Didn't spend much time on it to see a difference for now! Yes I want to put downforce, but since it will increase drag, I'll need more power before that aero phase! If I can keep up with a Porche, it's probably the driving skill, which I don't have much...but maybe a bit more than the porche's driver, who knows!? 🤷‍♂️

Get ya self a dyno jet quick shifter. You won’t need the clutch at all on up shifts when you pushing it.

Oh boy, man! First, I never heard about this thing, did a bit of reseach, 2-3 youtube vids later...that thing is AWESOME! Suck's that it's only on the up shift tho! 🤷‍♂️ Got a bit too much money to spend right now on the busa, so maybe later when I'm looking to shave off that tenth of a second on my laps! thanks for the tip!

@@VinyB57 it is awesome, I fitted had one fitted to my BKing and at a drag strip it got my 0-60mph down from 3.8 seconds to a recorded 2.5 seconds. When it was fitted I was advised never to use it below 4K revs and not on down shifts the gear box hates it. The acceleration also felt constant when I used it. I hope it works for a car conversion to. The cars awesome by the way. 👍🏼

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!
