I welded 1/2 inch drive sockets in the ends of my load handler clocked at 45 degrees apart. 2 men with breaker bars could drag a huge load off my truck. Super load handler!

Why do you have to stuff up a good video with loud music. So many do the same thing. Turn it off or turn it down

Well, I turned down the music a lot compare to the volume I used to put the music.

Nice build. I added pvc sheathing to the bed of my trailer to make it more slick between the trailer bed and the unloaded sheet. Works great!

Using the bottom of a "free" slick-plastic truck-bed liner works great, too. Craig's List "free" column ?

I've had the load handler type for many years. I've unloaded many truckloads of sand, gravel, and firewood. There is negligible wear on the pull sheet. It's important to clean under the pull sheet each use, otherwise you're sanding down your belt and bed. In a pickup, you have to try to keep the material from in front of the wheel wells. Firewood and gravel in particular will lock together against the wheelwells, and you'll have to remove material to be able to conveyer-out the load.

You need the same assembly on the front end of the trailer to wind the thing back up. That way you don't have to hop up into the trailer and pull it back by hand.

Nice craftsmanship It would not have taken much to add a rope and pully so the winch could pull it back.

I’m in Nova Scotia, what’s the chance of providing the company name or location of where to obtain the belting. Love the idea, for easy return of the floor you could add a counter wind to save the effort and not get in the trailer and pull it back.

So if I got this straight, you copied other backhoe designs had the parts fabricated by someone else and you welded them together. I think it'd be cheaper just to buy a used backhoe attachment

sure, if building it is not for you! But good luck finding one in good condition at a low price! Cause I checked in my area before ''copying'' other backhoes and it was either super old, or too expensive! But, there's always more than one way!
