I'd like to add them to an exhaust fan- that has position 1 (normal) - position 2(medium) and Position 3 (fast). Do you know how to wire them?.

Hi, sorry, but i've never had a chance to "smart" a fan. However if you have 3 positions I would assume you need 3 relays. Shelly 2 has only 2, you may look at sonoff 4ch pro

I have ended up getting Shelly 2 PM Plus and I am yet to install it, But, I have notcied thatfrom my motor theer are 4 wires that come in and I am not sure what is the 4th one for? I was expecting to find 3 of them, live, up and down. Could you advise what the 4th one might be and where can I stick it? :)

🤕🤕🤕 second shelly is now dead! The one which I mentioned in the material, bathroom roller shutter is inactive however physical buttons work! Another expensive replacement... are all automation related to roller shutters worth the price of shelly?! I need to consider throwing them from my system... at least from few spots... 😤😤

Dead After how Many Times ? Did you use RC Snubber for the installation ? Are Shelly 2pm better ? Any better alternative for roller shutters ? Thx

@@theattorney6072 around 2.5 year, each day it was opening in the morning and closing in the evening. I did not use anything extra, all my shellys are connected as you can see in the video. I'm using shelly 1, shelly 1pm and shelly 2.5. one of my shelly 1pm died too recently, shelly 1 are working for 3-4 year I think without any problem. I would buy something cheaper but only shelly is so small, all other devices with two channels are too big for my holes in the walls 🙁I would buy these if I could fit them s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeSNHr7. 🤭 you can always buy extended warranty for 3 years... I've seen it on their official website. But it is really bad that so many of them ale faulty in such short time... and they are not even under high usage... not sure how it is possible that they break so often... the 3rd one in my case will break soon too... I give it few months and I will buy another 2pack. BTW, do you also have such issues with them?
