I've never figured out the three or four puzzles I've seen in your videos, but I've come to realize that to solve the puzzle it'll never be what my brain is programmed to look for. I have to be a lot more creative. Thanks for the puzzles!

I would have taken the knight after white moves his pawn. Probably with the same result, but does that matter ? I don't think so.

Black would lose if they capture the knight with their first move because white would already have a queen before black has moved his pawn yet. If Black pushes his pawn only on his second move, he would be walking straight into an immediate capture by the queen.

Excuse me, but… the Black King can grab the nightmare at the first move! Why not ?😮

Because white will promote to queen and then have time to stop black pawn. Example h7, Kxf4, h8=Q, Ke3,Qb2!

If Black wastes his first move capturing a knight, white will have a queen before black even moves his pawn at all. The black pawn would be doomed and never promote.
