The instructor told me one thing that all they look for is how calm and confident you are. If you know what you are doing, all you have to do is remain calm and be confident and follow the rules. That's all. And you will pass. Most of the time people fail mostly due to them having the fear of failing or being scared of the examiner. Just practice the above video as much as you can, even while you are sitting on a sofa imagining, you will pass. Just be calm and confident. All the very best!

I passed on the first attempt for the RTA parking test. Here are a few tips besides the video : 1. The reference points may be different for you, because of your height and seat. Listen to the instructor carefully during the parking classes. Specially applicable for Garage parking 2. Garage parking: Please ask the instructor on how to correct your position (when you are about to enter the parking bay) if you are too close or too far from the yellow line in the right side mirror. This will save you in the test as well. 3. Additional move is okay (Only 2 demerit points). You can use it to correct your garage parking and parallel. 4. For the emergency brake test: Make sure your hands are gripping the steering wheel firmly when you apply the brake, as the steering wheel has sensors too. If you hold it loosely, it is an instant fail. Good luck 🤞

I passed on my first attempt on Monday. I legit thought I would fail at least the emergency break because during the internal assessment I entered the white line with a speed under 20 and my break pressure wasnt as hard as it shld. the ref points on this video differ a bit from what my instructor gave me and I think one shld stick to watever their instructor wld have taught them as ref points. i finished the test in 8mins and for a person who has zero prior driving experience- i was very impressed. Just for ref- I did my lessons at Belhasa Jafza and my instructor was Mazhar. one the best!

This video helps and outlines the rules and everything else that's necessary for the smart years, perfectly, as I'm from GMDC, they don't really have their own smart yard video outlined the way belhasa driving school portrays, so I had to come here for some helpful tips BUT I would still advise some students to take additional parking training one day before the RTA smart yard test, also, it depends on one's driving skill and hiw that individual is able to control, drive and park the vehicle I watched the smart yard video of: - dubai driving centre - belhasa driving school - Excellence driving school - galadari driving school - emirates driving institute The videos were helpful but not as much as the training lessons I took for the parkings I failed in, trust me, watching the video and actually performing these maneuvers are on a complete different level, so that's why I'm advising to take training just one day before the test

What I want to say.. Don't be that inspired by comments like ''I passed my road test from first attempt'' - those are the lucky ones who didn't do hard mistakes, but the reality is even if you are prepared and perform 100% correct the examiner can fail you if he really wants or has a plan in advance to fail you. This is what happened to me and the other guy. The other guy was passing exam for the third time and did everything perfect during exam - speed control, head check, enter and exit roundabout etc. We reached the intersection and some meters before this intersection there was a parking slot on the right sight. The examiner clearly pointed to a parking lot and said ''ok, take this right'' and the guy was led by his gesture and parked the car in the pointed slot. After that examiner asked ''so why did you park? you should've turn right!''.. This was resulted as immediate fail. And then was my turn - the examiner was quiet, but later already after exam told me I perform the head check not correct... like I'm turning my head ''not sufficiently''... The other moment - on the 60 km speed limit there were several speed humps so I slowed down approaching them, but the truck behind me continued almost with the same speed ignoring the humps - examiner said I should have increased the speed immediately after humps so full press gas...(yes, drive like Schumacher during exam) otherwise the truck could have killed us.. So he announced immediate fail... So I had to pay for additional classes (8 hours driving - just killing a time). I got my license within 1,5 month with 2nd attempt in total.. In other countries this would have called as a legalized corruption.... Just to let you know what problems you may face. Good luck to all!!

Parallel parking is the most challenging....points to be noted are 1. Correct positioning with slight right side 2. Turn fully right when yellow line disappears from right mirror 3. Turn fully left when white line is half the front door handle of left side mirror 4. Stop when yellow line is half of right front side mirror and both sides equally visible in both mirrors. 5. Holding the already fully turned left steering, put driving mode and slowly exit the parking after shoulder check. 6. When the yellow line corner is visible in left side mirror, turn fully to the right to exit the parking 7. Steady the steering

These videos are made for references, in real everyone has different experiences. It's all luck and your journey. Stay positive in all aspects and keep moving. Someone will get the license but will get 2 tickets in a month causing them to pay 200 DHS so it's of no use. But stay blessed all. I think they should make road test too

I only had two days training with the instructor and it wasn't that easy to keep all the instructions in my head. Watching this video over and over again, I was able to capture the immediate fails and demerits points in every maneuver . So It gave me all the confidence I needed for the test. I actually used 11 minutes to complete the test

Just passed my yard test in 1st attempt. The only key to success is that you have to be confident enough. Slow and steady is the key to success and also the trainer who taught you the reference points thats the most important. Just dont rush it make the car steady and straight. I completed in 9mins.

Suggestion to trainees. In parallel parking and garage parking, you get 1 extra attempt if your car does not enter properly into the parking slot while reversing. You should move the car forward and adjust the entry into parking slot. You will lose 2 points but you will clear your parking test.

I passed all except emergency brake test in rta first attempt due to a silly mistake on 13 February 2024. My trainer taught me a good setting for left mirror, downwards so that you see the rear tyre of the car . While parallel it helped a lot. 1. Turn your steering right when the corner disappears as usual. 2. See your left mirror and when u see the parking corner turn your steering 1.5 times and make the car straight. 3. When the rear tyre is about to touch the white parking line move the steering left fully to left . For garage please learn how to fix your parking when you cut late or early .

Brilliantly done! Helped me pass my assessment test. The sad part is that the way parallel parking is being taught nowadays is totally useless in real life. Old methods were better and practical.
