Nicely done Corey! I a HS filled believer currently in seminary. Seminary makes you study and do research so you can defend the Bible on proof and not misinformation that is floating around. God is leading me on a path to build Kingdom assignment s in the non-profit area. Not interested in pastoring a church. I used to be on the side of only needing the HS like some of you in the comments. Those of you throwing rocks at Seminary need to sit in on class before making judgment. The seminary I went to didn’t teach me what to think but how to use the tools of the languages, represent the gospel, and study the Bible effectively not perfectly. I learned so much and evidently it’s an ongoing learning process because I’m still learning from other people like Corey and Theology Matters and Caldwell Apologetics. I would rather be wise about the false doctrines and how to combat with Scripture in this modern age. We need to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. I want my knowledge to be tested and approved by Scripture then just getting empty filler from church. Lord leads and directs as we study His word effectively.

I currently attend seminary and if you aren't sent to pastor seminary will not qualify you, you will need to be taught and chosen or else it's like everything else, with all your getting you will need to get understanding. But we need to stop kicking out those who are studying to ensure integrity within our ministries and stop accepting unknowledgeable preachers who lead people astray.

I’m a Bible Teacher myself. I thought it unnecessary to attend seminary. But I was wrong. Seminary can be a valuable tool used by the Holy Spirit to “teach the teacher”. Gino could benefit Greatly!!! by attending seminary. His interpretation of Scripture is incorrect and his spirit is not in accord with Scripture.

You’re missing the point. Gino fails to realize that the original manuscripts of the Bible were written in Greek and Hebrew which would in turn give you the most accurate representation of what was originally written. When he said don’t give me Greek give me Bible, that what he was doing. He was giving bible and Gino said “no give me bible” which shows a clear lack of understanding of how the scriptures were originally written. It’s this lack of awareness in basic bible history and originality that makes people question the validity of what he teaches. Just saying.

I know some people who never went to school and yet their doctrine and understanding is far beyond that of someone who has a degree. Job 28 tells us where knowledge is found or the entire concept of seminary is traditions of men where they get indoctrinated with Greek culture like philosophy which is a direct opposition of the Ruach HaQodash(Set-Apart) Spirit. I will say this, when I received my calling and ministry by Christ, my knowledge was elementary, but the irony is that my ministry was to minister to pastors. Imagine someone with little knowledge tasked with ministering to theologians and biblical scholars. The body of Christ doesn't have a knowledge problem, it has an understanding problem. In fact, most pastors are rich in knowledge, but the body of Christ has a faith and belief problem. Culture has taken ahold of the reigns of truth/beliefs. For example. Eventhough I may not have studied knowledge, my teachings aligns with the scripture. So I will teach someone something 'today' that I didn't read, but 1 month into the future I will stumble across scripture that supports my message/teachings. This is what is meant when scripture said that the spirit of God will teach His elect and that we won't need for anyone else to teach us because we're going taught directly by the source. So when I read Paul and other apostles, it is very intimate in the sense like a 1st person experience or like he's speaking directly to me. I am very thankful for my anointing and for having this access to the truth that is Christ Jesus.

Exactly how the Apostle Paul died is not a doctrinal issue whatsoever. So, if there is any historical record that Paul was beheaded, then to say while preaching, that Paul was beheaded is definitely warranted. Sooooooo, what's the big deal??? As someone who have listened to Gino Jennings for pretty unhealthy amount of times, I could say that he is not only arrogant, but a hypocrite. He has a grandiose personality, he thinks he is only one who is right. I like Gino and still listen to some of his sermons when I feel like I need a kick in the butt but his theology and doctrine is somehow messed up. I do not understand much but listening to him, I think people are attracted to his Charisma and sound of his voice; to him, everything seems like a performance, nothing much, and people think Charisma is the Holy Spirit. he is more like a cult leader and does not sound like a Christian at all! somethings he says are right, but most are not.

@ They were quite solid honestly. Prior to seminary I studied on my own 3-4 hrs a night. So Seminary was crazy easy. The thought I kept having was “am I doing this so that other people can see the gifting?” Because if all I’m looking for is a “atta boy” from a school that is messed up. Now did I graduate? Yes. Solid GPA the whole nine. The irony is I have learned more post seminary (a yr and a half ago), I have learned exponentially more on my own. I continue to read a book a week, now including pastoral duties and studies. Even right now I’m listening to a theological podcast 😂 I’m not saying this to sound better than anyone but I think if you do not have the discipline to study I mean STUDY. Hard on your own go to Seminary. If you do you don’t need it. That is my opinion

When giving a defense for the hope that is in you, we find out that they will not believe or consider your words because you don’t have a degree in theology which helps your credibility as an expert in interpreting the scriptures more accurately. But as I continue to listen to these people reasoning, it doesn’t matter if you went to theology seminary school or not. People are going to believe what they want to believe and base it primarily on their own experience and feelings. some dismiss the authority of the scriptures. And only take out what they agree with instead of accepting all the dispensations of the deity of our Lord God Almighty Job32:9 “Sometimes the elders are not wise. Folks souls in trouble, searching for the knowledge of God and His Son Jesus Christ. People need to experientially. They need to KNOW the God of all grace, that when He speaks to you through His word, THAT word quickens, makes alive in you. Head knowledge is worthless without faith, the very thing that pleases God. He didn't give us the bible for us to use according to our understanding, His word is to be a witness to the word in you....

I went to Seminary and I came to understand, that it, help the learner commit to research and studying. But it is the Holy Spirit who gives illumination to the word of God, meaning it exposes the intent of the Word of God! Expository development helps the reader to deal with Time; Culture, and the writer. For myself, I find nothing wrong with it. Gino definitely need Seminary! Gino use Acts 2:38 and says that you must be baptized in Jesus name to receive the Holy Ghost. However, in Acts 10:44, it says why Peter was speaking the Holy Spirit came upon Cornelius whole household who believed what Peter was saying. And Peter baptized them after they receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 10: 44-47, "44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Selah!

If in fact he takes what others said then I might consider that you do the same as you share things on your page that you do not witness. I think you both have a heart that loves God and have chosen to live and teach. However this is a conversation that you should have with each other if we are to correct someone we don't do it on YT we go to the brother first.
