Smartest Roof Heating Solution for Winter

Today I'll be showcasing the edge cutter roof heating system which is, in my opinion, the smartest roof heating solution for wintertime. If you get a lot of snow in the winter and are tired of ice dams forming in your gutters, the edge cutter system is a fantastic way to take care of the problem without using a heated wire system, which comes with an array of complications. The product I'm using comes from a company called heatline.com.

8' of snow fell all tolled on this Hoodoo Mountain in the Idaho Panhandle but the volume was so great that the ground remained mostly thawed and melted it from beneath. This left very little for runoff in spring... Unusual scenario

Use BTV-CT Raychem Self regulating heating cable. You will never have to worry about ice build up

So your explanation and video is a bit misleading. If you have just a drip edge like in your video than this video is true. BUT if you have a gutter like most of us, you are to use this product AND their Paladine system (heated cord) in the gutter! I don't believe you explain that in the video.
