A house divided cannot stand. I'm glad FDR had the good sense to make a difficult but meaningful decision. The Harlem Hellfighters is winning for coolest name today. 😂🔥 To know that they were the 369th Infantry Regiment makes me wonder what number we're at today. That's a lot of soldiers... Loved the detail about the two parallels and the victory iconography. I'm gonna take "...and non-stop work will speed it" with me today.

The speakers here clearly know their stuff when it comes to art history but are sadly deficient in their knowledge of tools - one uses a mallet to drive a wedge into something, not an axe. And it clearly looks like a mallet too.

We appreciate your comment, the tool portrayed here is not clearly depicted and is not even entirely within the frame. It is possible that it is a mallet as you suggest, it also possible it is a common type of axe known as a splitting maul. It is also very possible that it is not any particular type of tool.

Thank you for your response. I should not have been so arrogantly assertive, and have been deservedly (and expertly) corrected (o:
