Good evening Sir. My higher order reflective-reflective model shows discriminant validity issues under both HTMT and Fornell and Lacker. It shows 0.929 under HTMT. How to resolve this? The discriminant validity issues had been resolved at the LOC stage using your guidelines. How to handle such issues at the the HOC (reflective-reflective) stage?

You can use the same approach at higher level.

Sir, can you share the link or full paper in which you have used PLS SEM so that I can replicate the style in my paper?

Thanks for your interest. You can search Khawaja Fawad Latif in Google Scholar and use any paper.

Prof, Can you share this exact data set on your website? the SmartPLS data uploaded on your site is somewhere different than the one you have used in this video session. Thank you prof.

Thanks for your interest. I am afraid that data is part of an ongoing study.

Hello Sir. I have a question When writing my thesis do I assess discriminant validity for lower-order constructs first then for higher-order constructs. I saw this argument on smartPLS forum and it made sense at the time: Should we expect lower-order constructs that converge into the same higher-order construct to have discriminant validity? "You will often find that lower-order constructs are not distinct. Particularly, when you model a reflective-reflective type of construct. This type of construct has a built-in inherent logical problem: You want your lower-order construct to be distinct (see above), because it would otherwise not make much sense to model them as separate dimensions of your higher-order construct. At the same time, the reflective nature of the higher-order construct calls for redundancy in the measures. They should all measure the same common factor and be more or less interchangeable and thus exhibit high correlations. These high correlations often contradict discriminant validity criteria. Hence, you operate at a very thin line between not fulfilling one or the other criterion. Hence, I usually avoid using these types of models. You can also find quite some criticism on these type of models in the literature." So my question is what's the logic behind testing reflective-reflective higher-order constructs on the lower level where in fact these lower-level sub dimensions should be more or less inter-changable in a reflective model.

You Will have to assess the reliability and validity both at lower and higher level for reflective-reflective higher order construct
