Wow! It's in English!!! I watched the German video twice with the CC on and set to translate to English and read it all. So cool that you have done it in English also. I picked up on things that I missed trying to watch and read at the same time. I really like the custom profiles that can be done now. That's going to be so nice to be able to customize each one exactly like I want it. Also that the quick link now offers Race, Qualify and Menu which is one of the things on my wish list. Nicely done Marc, this app continues to be miles ahead of anything else I've seen.

What a great application you’ve created. As a Scalextric Arc Pro user I’m jealous at the amount of functions in this app and the very nice look and feel. Maybe I need to switch to Carrera when I hopefully have more space for my track in the future 😜

Fantastic application Marc! I am looking forward to taking advantage of the 5.5 updates. I do have suggestion/ request. Being able to add the VSC or Penalty button as a widget would be great. The buttons as they are on the lower right of the screen are too small. When trying to deploy the VSC during races, I inevitably hit the wrong button or just miss completely and cause more accidents. Again, loving app and appreciate the time and effort you put in to improve it. It is a wonderful addition to the hobby.

❤love those very cool fly by car sounds🏆 Hope you can add a number of different NASCAR, IndyCar, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 and some more F1 86/89 sounds😃 And is it an idea to add also car specific tyre changing and accelerating car sounds to cars stopping and leaving the pits? 🏁This combined with the new sounds will at so much extra atmosphere to the race track and pit 🏁

Thanks Hans, there should already be wheel gun sound when you enter the pits (if you configured it), but it would surely be possible to add a sound when the car leaves the pit as well. I'll think about it 🙂

@@SmartRace Thanks Marc. I know about the wheel gun sound. But what I meant is adding a sound for a specific car type when it leaves the pit. So different sounds like the fly by car sounds are different.

Hi Massimo! There is no dedicated rally mode in SmartRace, but people nevertheless use the app for their rally tracks. You can find the download links for SmartRace on www.smartrace.de/en/download

Hi I have downloaded version 5.6.2.I am waiting for my new carrera set to arrive but I have been playing with the smartrace app I paid for the Champions club but the add will not let me add a car to the system i can add a track add a driver andevething else but it will not save a car any ideas why this might be cheers for any help

Hi Jean-Pierre, this is unfortunately not possible, as the Carrera Control Unit doesn't detect such events and hence SmartRace can't know about it either. :-(

I just noticed after I updated the app, under my track section, track records don't show anymore, it just sits there constantly loading? I tried unistalling the app, loading a back up file and nothing works. I can see my track times under each car but that's it.

Unfortunately there is a bug in 5.5 which affects the "track record" race screen widget as well as the track records view in the track database. A fix for this issue is already on the way. Until then, you can as a workaround delete the track record widget from the race screen and restart the app, it should then work fine again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
