Just wanted to update you on my DT 28. I have contacted DT No.1 and they told me to switch to the DT NO. 1 app instead of Fundo. The DT NO.1 app behave the exact same way as Fundo with a simulated ECG. I have asked DT NO.1 on several occasion about this and they have thus far refused to answer the question. Besides that, the DT NO.1 has been excellent.

Hi, Great review, between the Z03 and N58 do they have the same hardware\Software and firmware, I am not sure which watch to buy, is the Z03 the newer watch, I am interested in their ECG+PPG capabilities is there another watch you would recommend over these two. Z03 and N58 don't GPS, is that correct. many thanks for your help
@1985fj605 жыл бұрын
I have both.. no GPS. If you need an EKG just keep your phone with you and use the APP. I just started wearing the Z3. My N58 was not very water tight and drowned. I will let all of you know how well it handles the shower etc. In a week or so. So far I am not impressed with the charging cable.
@1985fj605 жыл бұрын
Both watches are close but the Z03 is better at handling water. If you are active the Z03 has a better watch band. The metal bands for the N58 did not hold up well and would come loose without notice. The only drawback to the Z03 as Mr Ticks pointed out is the charger connection to the watch sucks. Same SDK for Iphone and Droid.

Hi there... your reviews are nicely done! One thing though, and I think it's very important... I'd really like to see you test the accuracy of the BP monitor (I know it's harder with an ECG, not everyone has a machine around to check against, but BP should be easy to compare). I have bought about 3 different watches that do ECG/BP measuring and the BP is about 30 points off the cuff measurement which really makes this function useless. Disappointing because it's the main reason I bought the watches. SO... it would be REALLY helpful to know the accuracy ahead of time before wasting money on products that are difficult to return. I have a drawer full...lol!

You have reviewed Bakeey W3 today. This watch and Bakeey W3 look 100% identical. Is it a same watch?
@SWT4 жыл бұрын
Oh, no, not the same watch at all. For starters, the W3 uses red diode technology so you can get much more rich data related to blood oxygen, like Lorentz scatter plots and sleep apnea alarms. Watch them back to back and you'll see what I mean. Significant improvements in the W3.

Just found your channel. What watch do you recommend for HRV, sleep, time and stop watch. I don't really need anything else.
@SWT5 жыл бұрын
The DT58 has the most information for HRV but no sleep time or stop watch. There are different 'expressions' of HRV data from different apps, often presented as fatigue level measured from 1 to 100. You probably need to do some more research. Check out the watches/bands that offer ECG+PPG and tether with the app HeartHealth (or similar) and I think you'll find what you want.

You are exactly the type of pressing this warning is aimed for, as the last thing you need is a fake watch telling you your heart is fine when it 'aint. I get good vibes(pun) from any of them that tether ti the WearHeart or WearHealth or similar apps and you can really tell the heart wave is real. Just stay away from Fundo branded apps, at least until they get their act together.

I noticed on the the sites demo video there is a swim mode, yet the watch is only rated IP67. Everything I have read about water ratings suggests not to use any IP rated watch underwater & that the watch needs to have a ATM rating of at least 5ATM
@SWT4 жыл бұрын
Very good question. Best answer I can give is, having reviewed a bunch of these devices, China really doesn't understand the IP rating guidelines and often rates an IP65 "splash resistant" watch as IP67 or IP68. That said, I would expect that if a watch has a swim mode, it's intended for swimming. But when it breaks from water intrusion, from what I've seen and heard, it's a nightmare to try and get a replacement or refund, especially if you've had it for over 30 days. So I suggest common sense. Look at the case. Look at the area around the buttons. Look at the bezel. Use a magnifying glass if you can. If it has a SIM cover, pop it off and look at both the cover and the watch hole for rubber gaskets. If it snaps on it's a real danger to water intrusion. If the casing looks like a solid, sound build, then you could give it a try in fresh, cold water. Never warm/hot water as the steam can get in where liquid water might not (no hot showers!). I'd avoid ocean water or anything salty as the salt, over time, could eat away at the water protection (like rubber gaskets). For absolute safety, stick with a 5ATM rating if you plan to swim with it. I try and put that in my subject titles when it's rated to that level so you can use the search magnifying glass icon to search on 5ATM over at smartwatchticks.com
@98785674 жыл бұрын
@@SWT I agree! Thanks for the quick response. I also read to ignore the ads info regarding swimming and to only go by manufacturer specs if available. They will be more honest. And for sure... very difficult to get refunds these days... I have found out the hard way ordering off FB this Christmas for smartwatches. Bad place to buy from. Some are complete scams, and even if they will refund, you have to send the watch back to China for around $50, so not worth it. Back to my question about BP measurement. Have you tried any out for accuracy against an actual BP monitor? I have three watches here that I bought that aren't even close for measurement. They each cost around $80. Would be nice to know ahead of time if there is one that is within at least a 10 point range for BP. Two of the ones I have record ECG with the same 3 point system as your review, and do actually record when used, but one gives me dire warnings, the other says everything is normal. Ready to give up on accuracy for any BP/ ECG readings from these watches!
@98785674 жыл бұрын
Thanks too, for the advice about buying first party rather than 3rd party. I learned the hard way. I've learned to go directly to the brand. And some people create a name for their site and make it seem like it's their product, but it isn't. The one site I ordered from had what seemed like a decent return policy except there were no returns on sale items. Upon looking further, I noticed ALL the watches were on sale (with inflated retail prices to make it look like large discounts). I saw the same watches on other sites after for well below their "sale" price. You really have to do your research. And we appreciate people like you giving a heads up on products!

Great review Mr. Ticks. I unfortunately picked up a Microwear L10 (newer than L7) before I found your video. Some negative feedback of that watch other than the fake ECG is that this model (unlike all previous L series) has a fake round screen (square in the circle), and the touch screen froze up frequently. So for ECG watch, NO MICROWEAR warming is still on!
@SWT4 жыл бұрын
Wow, going from bad to worse it sounds. The only way to stop this madness is to vote with our pocketbooks and refuse to buy c**p like this. If they don't sell watches that have fake sensors and pretend to be round watches with tiny square hidden screens, perhaps they'll wake up and stop making them. So everybody listen: DO NOT BUY Microwear L7 or L10 smartwatches. Thanks for letting us know, Thomas.
