I love this so much. It's clear that you understand what makes Geibuchan's poops so special. From the opening and closing cinematics emulating his animation style perfectly to the cameos of not only prominent characters in The King's Epic Adventure, but a good variety of Geib's other works to (not surprisingly) the moveset itself representing the character and his chaotic nature perfectly. I genuinely don't know what else to say other than this just made me incredibly happy. Outstanding work

God you have no idea how happy this makes me. King looks super chaotic in the best way possible, his animations are so goofy and in-your-face that just watching him is ridiculously fun. I'm also an absolute huge fan of his playstyle excellently translating Geibuchan's ytps and flashpoops in general, encouraging a super aggressive playstyle that we don't get too often nowadays. I just have to shout out the Final Smash in particular though, being one of the best animated things I have ever seen in Arueus so far! YTPs and Flashpoops deserve more rep in Lawl, so I'm super super happy to hear you took up the mantle! Can't wait to see what comes next, dude! Aureus might just be one of my favorite on-going Lawls thanks to the amazing animation, outside of the box ideas for moves, and some extremely well-done character choices. If I see Bubsy lusting for Sakaki one more time though I'm going to burn down the closest bank and feed you my own shit.

6:29 Want to know a secret? I was in 10th grade went I put that jingle together using Garageband in my Multimedia class. After exporting it onto a flash drive, I brought it home to Geibuchan, hoping he could use it. I'm not sure if I told him this part, but the tune comes from using the Mac keyboard as a piano in Garageband, and hitting the keys that spell "youtube poop". The small gap between the fifth and sixth notes of the jingle is there because the B key doesn't play a note, as only the two rows of keys under the numbers play notes using the keyboard-to-piano feature.

I think I found myself my new Lawl Aureus main! The King's Epic Adventure is a YTP series that lives up to its great name, and this moveset perfectly represents why that series is epic! The animations here got a massive upgrade in general, but I also really like the little details such as the Black Bull squashing up before driving, it adds a lot of personality to the animations. The moveset itself is very fitting for this YTP series' interpretation of the King of Hyrule: he's got a lot up his sleeve from summoning bolts of lightning and driving the Black Bull to calling out Snake and Otacon (in their box/ship) to make a getaway. Also, the Final Smash with Shuma Gorath is one of the most impressive ones I've seen both in terms of concept and animation! The taunts and victories were fun, as was seeing Epic King's stage.The lore segments were also amazing, you nailed the style of The King's Epic Adventure well and the interaction between the King's party and Sr. Pelo was cool. It was an honor to cameo Toon Pac-Man and Dalek here, both of which were very fitting alongside the rest of the cameos (Toon Pac-Man has the source material behind some of Geibuchan's most well known YTPs and Daleks cameoed near the end of The King's Epic Adventure 4 Act 2). This one's the best Lawl Aureus moveset yet, and I look forward to the Q&A video and the next future plans for Aureus!

This moveset did one of the best things a Lawl video could ever do: It really makes me want to watch (or in this case rewatch) the source material. You did an honestly incredible job here Shrekles. From the perfectly crazed and chaotic nature of it, to the accurate recreation of the sources style, as well as just insanely stellar animation in general! The cameos also really made this extra fun as well. As a Lawl fan I had a complete blast with it, and as a YTP fan I deeply, deeply appreciate the effort that went into making this happen. It's usually good to stick with what's on the schedule, but sometimes exceptions like this can be such a huge treat. Best of luck completing the QNA Special, as well as starting your time in university. Don't really have much else to say except well. Good shit dude, good shit

WOW. OKAY. JUST CASUALLY DROPPING ONE OF THE BEST MOVESETS OF ALL TIME I SEE. it's surprisingly rare in lawl that we get movesets that are laser-focused on being just as batshit insane as possible, as there's really no better way to describe this moveset. every single move in this kit is as flashy as can be, and I think it's showing just how far aureus' animation has come. like the physics of moves is something that rarely gets talked about and you nailed both the simple and extreme ends of them; side special has very smooth physics on the ground and in the air, but that extremely exaggerated start-up is what gives it its punch, and up special's glide is surprisingly believable for a literal cardboard box, but it also has the dramatic SLAM which feels incredible to land! AND NONE OF THIS IS EVEN GOING INTO THE FINAL SMASH LIKE WHAT????? do we need to even mention king's godlike shit??? actually might be the funniest move in all of lawl, the way he FORCES YOU TO LITERALLY DRINK HIS SHIT. I. WHGAT. HUH. in spite of all the insanity this moveset was balanced incredibly well, very little complaints! LOVE the lore sections too, pelo was intergrated fantastically, the animation on snake and the king felt so true to the source, and the sentence mixing????? absolute chef's kiss. i think the best feeling a moveset can leave me after watching it is "i regret not having checked out more this source earlier" because WOW I AM MISSING OUT ON SOMETHING SPECIAL. if i had a nickel for every top 5 lawl moveset of all time released within summer 2024, i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice right?

I'll be the first one to say that whenever Epic King showed up in Empty Slots of rosters, I wasn't very interested by the idea. Yeah, the Poops were good, but given how similar he looks to the regular version of The King, it just felt like a bit of a forced idea, kinda like when people want to do TFS Frollo and Gaston. However, this moveset made me swallow my words whole, because it's just SO GOOD. First of all, yeah everyone has brought it up already but the animation is UNREAL. I love how distinctive The King looks (mostly using sprites in Geibuchan's style), and everything just feels incredibly snappy and well animated. The highlights were definitely the Die Lightning being used to KO someone, the fully charged Shit and, well, that Final Smash! I can't imagine just how much it must have taken you to finish it off. I also really enjoy the playstyle a lot! Feeling like a really quick and easy to use character. Wouldn't be surprised if he was a Top Tier character because a lot of the combos shown seemed to be really difficult to escape once they get going. And the cameos really elevated this set a lot, as seeing so many classic YTP characters in one set was a real treat.

i'm so glad i now know the source of that one gif where the king chuffs a fat one can't say how much i appreciate the idea in full since i haven't seen all too much of the king's new adventure before this came out, but seeing it full it's a very VERY fun moveset! outside of the design of the set itself, just the way the king moves and bounces with such energy, in a fashion that's perfectly replicates the source he's from, is such an absolute delight. the animation is so well done for every character involved, but the king really knocks it out of the park by making it feel like i'm watching a geibuchan video myself the moves are all simple and fun too, nothing too overly complex and encourages getting up to your opponents face so you can beat the shit out of them (before making them eat your own). and the final smash was just an absolute marvel, just nonstop dynamic action that looks and feels like it'd hurt like hell to get caught in, it's perfect, down to the small touch of it temporarily going into 4:3 just for the transition alone the cameos were also very appreciated, since that's something i'm more familiar with (kinda) when it comes to geibu's works. shows all the care and appreciation that goes into it, and it's greatly appreciated all in all, i should've known there was a reason you wanted to use bubsy as a cameo and like a blind idiot i just let you spread malice. _how dare you._ (/nsrs)

This is a surprise that caught me off guard... but at the same time I feel like I should've seen him coming at some point. His inclusion's 100% in character for this lawl lmao Yeah the Epic King's set is really good. It has been ages since I last saw the King's epic adventure, so this was a really nice blast to the past for me. The animation's smooth as always, and I swear it gets smoother with every set. And the King's animations are just as well done. I love the fuckin' "Punch Him!" jab, as I very vaguely remember that joke being one of my favorites from the series. As for specials, they're all pretty good, the Die Bolt looks stupid fun to use. And the king generally looks like the type of guy I'd 100% main. His animations are some of the best I've seen from the roster thus far too. All in all, pretty excellently done surprise set, can't wait to see more.

First moveset this month and we've already got a big surprise. I've watched the entirety of The Kings Epic Adventures, and while I initially wasn't sold on the character, I realised that there were a lot of ways to make him distinct from regular Hark, and this Ren ally does capture the charming craziness of that series very well. Neutral Special is a fairly powerful move without feeling too OP, Side B is great for combos, Up B was a nice way to cameo Snake and and Otacon, and Down B is extremely fitting in how it forces his enemies to eat his shit. And the Final Smash is definitely among the greatest I've seen in a long time. Added to that, we have an abundance of cameos (with all of Robotnik's minions getting the punishment in the Final Smash), and fitting taunts and victories, and you've got a good set for such a long awaited character. Hopefully, this month will promise a lot of good from both Aureus and other Lawls. Good luck on the Q&A.

I'm at a loss for words. The animation alone clears every other Lawl HOW! Actually fucking how! This is an actual game levels of animation that only Miro, Luis, and Lux can do and you've EXCEEDED them! Actually fucking how? And the moveset was just as good! Moveset review under the read me to avoid spoilers. Fitting the manic energy of a King who shits in jars and drives Black Bull from F-Zero trademark. Everything fits super well into a very chaotic rushdown character who is very much so Epic, capitalized because it's his name. I don't have much else to add other than HOLY PEAK BATMAN! Everything plays so nicely and I'd main this doofus.

Lawl Aureus is back again with another set, and I gotta say it is NOT who I expected! I unfortunately haven’t seen any of The Kings Epic Adventure, but Epic Kings inclusion in A Smash Bros Lawl Thing all those years back made me a little curious as to how he’d play out, especially with what was shown of him there, and now that he’s front and center stage thanks to this set, I gotta say that it’s a really good move set! The set has a lot of well executed beautiful simplicity that makes Epic King look aggressive, chaotic, and fun to play all at once. The Neutral Special is a great combo starter that accounts for balancing and the playstyle, (and all the skeletons drawn for those who got hit in the showcase are just…AMAZING) Side Special is a spastic movement tool that has enough properties and options to make it stand out from others well, the Up Special is a solid recovery that includes his partners in a great way, the Down Special is really funny in just about every way while having some really neat features, and the Final Smash is a highlight for me, since its both really well animated and just plain awesome. The rest of the set captured Epic Kings surrealism really well, and the intro and outro lore felt like something straight from Epic Kings source while finally answering that lingering question of where Pelo went upon D Kess’ introduction, and that loose end being tied was really nice to see. Overall I think this was a really good set, and I’m excited to see how your Q&A turns out! Best of luck on its finishing touches, and I’m willing to wait however long for it’s release.
