Different voice actors. IIRC the Smash Taunts for this stage were just ripped from Brawl, and they didn't bother to have Mike West (Fox) or Marc Lund (Falco) re-record the dialogue to match their present voices. The Smash Taunts in Orbital Gate Assault are, however, done by Mike West and Marc Lund. Fun fact, Fox and Falco have three different voice actors across both versions of Smash 4, since a similar phenomenon happens in Corneria (since that stage uses different voice actors too).

I really liked the Lylat Cruise voices and I was at first kind of disappointed that they didn't return to portray the characters in 4. Though I've warmed up to the 64 3D voices now. After all, it's not like the voice actors really change so much at the end of the day. It's the characters that matter most to me, not their voices.

Ice Climbers have finished data on the Wii U, alongside artwork, and only had a few kinks to resolve. If not Wolf, Ice Climbers would indefinitely return if the NX port is a real thing. Cause I imagine the NX is not going to try and be similar to limit anything, unless the MH also has a port of the game. As to which case, the NX might be screwed if the MH is unable to handle the Ice Climbers as well. Also, they ported them from Brawl, so it would not be hard if Wolf was to return in the NX port.

WWWOOOOOWWW FOX'S VOICE IS AMAZING! That is such a great voice for Fox in this part of the game (Star Fox Assault being one of the later games chronologically). It sounds mature and refined, as if he is experienced. It's an evolutionary voice acting choice, just like how Peppy sounds older because, duh, he IS older.

Dude WTF when did Fox have such a quality voice actor?? This is Smash on the Wii U, and Fox, in game, is way more annoying than Slippy... except for this stage. What happened? Why isn't the person voicing Fox in this video playing as Fox in the new Smash?

In SSBB fox falco and wolf had different voice actor and plus this stage is from brawl so they had to keep the old dialouge
