I mean how do you even reasonably do Kirby in DnD. He has the potential of using every ability he encounters, has probably also reality altering powers given the ending of Star Allies and what we know of both regular Dark Matter and Void and is basically the avatar of some Elder God that is supposed to be the creator of all life in the omniverse. Before you ask where the last information came from, the lore text of Astral Birth Void was butchered by the traduction team and a whole passage that outright say that Void was born as the origin of all and the creator of the concepts of Darkness, Hearts, Dreams and Soul. That's actually pretty interesting but I don't really think you can make a legal character in DnD that is based on Kirby lore-wise and not just play with a literal God.

I have actually done this, with 3 players. I had Ridley, Mewtwo and Pit. Ridley: Viashino Berserker Barbarian Mewtwo: Githzerai Nomad Mystic Pit: Aasimar Ancients Paladin All lvl 20, last one standing wins. They fought on Spear Pillar with some neat lair actions going on throughout.

@@SwerveStarEx what would you like to know? I had Palkia, Dialga and Giratina show up throughout the battle. The first round everyone was still invulnerable as set up. The second and third round everyone just fought normally. The fourth and fifth round were Dialga's lair actions: Dialga randomly slowed/hasted the characters, though nobody ended up getting slowed. Also Mewtwo got a time double from the next round, meaning for 1 round, there were 2 Mewtwos, at the start of their next round the 'old' Mewtwo poofed out of existance to be jumped back in time. Round 6 and 7 were for Palkia: As space folded in on itself, I actually folded my paper map in on itself, bringing characters closer together. The next round, I folded the map out again. Rounds 8 and 9 were Giratina, who was physically there and would aid the first one who attacked it, similar to the whatsitcalled from Magicant. Round 10 was Arceus, who set everyone's health to the highest total among the 3, at the end of this round, Ridley lost rage and went down, Pit lost the Aasimar wings and had to drop to the ground, but with a final volley he took out Mewtwo, dealing about 58 damage if I recall correctly between 2 attacks.

@@merlannin2108 probably grab some feats like Weapon Master for the weapon proficiency and one of the armor proficiency feats if you want some actual armor instead of your dragon scales which are still good at 13+ dex bonus. Still one of the squishiest classes out there so live life on the edge 24/7

Never take the grappler feat, it's literal garbage. Take the tavern brawler feat so he can grapple as a bonus action when you hit an unarmed attack, and you get proficiency in improvised weapons. He's a professional wrestler so you now have proficiency in folding chairs.

If you're using Breath of the wild link, knight fits him perfectly. He's zelda's personal guard, and his retainers could be the other 4 champions.

You only get three retainers, though. And the PHB states that the retainers are commoners. And if you look it up in the monster manual, you see that commoners are CR 0 medium humanoids (of any race). The champions are far from CR 0, and I have my doubts about Daruk being medium. And two of them (Mipha and Urbosa) are royalty for crying out loud. For BotW Link's retainers, options would be Impa, Paya, Purah, Robbie, and maybe Beedle or Hestu.

She is FAR beyond the power level of CR 0, so certainly not a commoner.

Alright y’all, lots of comments about Links intelligence. Please review what intelligence means, solving puzzles is 100% wisdom. Intelligence is to recall information and book read smartness, wisdom is the ability to solve situations. The ability to solve puzzles falls under wisdom.

Also Link's Triforce is Courage, not Wisdom, so while I agree that Link isn't DUMB, he's definitely not a wizard. Link always struck me, no matter what his incarnation is, as a simple guy who gets pointed in the direction of evil and swipes his sword at it a bunch. Again, he's not dumb, he's just driven and focused, and so many of the various Links tend to come from very humble beginnings; whether it be a sleepy little town, an out of the way island, or a hidden forest glade, Link always comes from a place where heart and honesty are valued over intellect and education.

Attractiveness doesn't always mean high charisma, charisma is more your ability to know how people psychologically work. Not necessarily reading them like a book as that's insight, a wisdom based skill, but more so knowing which emotional strings to pull to make them do the thing you want.

so i see dins fire (twice) light, guidance make sense (replicates her being a light princess and guidance for Tri-force of wisdom) shield does do Nayrus love ok (but i feel warding wind would potentially work for later levels) misty step-I agree completely is Farores wind (eventually 3rd level thunder step from xanthars would work too for the damage) burring hands works for her throws cure makes too much sense as does feather fall suggestions: for phantom slash (although it wouldn't be the best) catupult fits as well as you could get it (animate object later), no blocking but a random sword flying at the enemy is about all you could ask for with that low level

However, I think she's smarter than 10, as she writes all sorts of observations and collects a lot of data in her adventures. Maybe swap the Str. Now, for subrace either Swift Stride to put emphasis on her acrobatic side or Wildhunt for the hunting and tracking aspect. The race is from Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron though, so I don't know if that would count...

Really cool video! I feel like Samus might be better served as a Horizon Walker Ranger than just a Hunter. The 3rd level ability Planar Warrior lets you use your bonus action to make your next attack deal additional Force damage, which is a lot like a Charged Shot. The flavor of Horizon Walkers as sort of "Planar Cops" fits Samus pretty nice too I feel. Very cool video overall though, I definitely like the builds!

I would have made her a School of Invention wizard(from Unearthed Arcana), with the Spell Sniper feat. The Arcanomechanical Armor feature would be the power suit. For cantrips, there's Fire Bolt (Power Beam), Ray of Frost (Ice Beam), Message (communication systems) and Lightning Lure (Grapple Beam). For spells, Magic Missile (Missiles), Detect Magic (Visors), Longstrider (Speed), Chromatic Orb (Charge Shot), Scorching Ray (Plasma Beam), Mind Spike (Lock-on), and See Invisibility (Thermal Visor).

Only way I imagine being able to make Bowser is if your DM doesn't mind Tortles in the campaign. Then make a Storm Herald Barbarian and Desert for the fire element. Background being Noble. But if you can't use tortles, go Red or Gold Dragonborn and have him fitted in turtle like armor as your character comes from a nation where Dragon Turtles are like gods to them. Edit: For those nice slash attacks if you go the Dragonborn way, when you get to level 4, take the Dragon Hide feat from the Xanathar's Guide. And if you have a wizard in the party, hope they'll cast Enlarge on you.

Here's a quick rundown of his abilities: Resurrection: Ganondorf is the only character in The Legend of Zelda who has maintained some form of constant presence bar only a few figures such as the Goddesses. He is the same figure from game to game. Flight: Ganondorf displays the ability to levitate and even fly (OOT). Energy attacks: Ganondorf's signature fighting style is to play Extreme Death Tennis with Link using forms of spiritual energy. Sword Fighting: Ganondorf is an excellent sword fighter, capable of going blade to blade with Link. Beast Mode: Oftentimes, Ganondorf will be bested and resort to his Triforce of Power, supercharging himself and gaining the appearance of a boar-like demon. So uh... I've no goddamn clue. Sky high STR (Triforce of Power), WIS (quite capable of reading the intentions of others and seeing through deception), CON (he just will not die) INT (an accomplished wizard), and maybe CHA just due to how he manipulates people in OOT, low DEX because he's generally depicted as a slow boi. Race: Human(?) +1 STR, +1 WIS/INT/CON (Your call) Class: Fighter, Eldritch Knight(?) Proficiencies (at least): Athletics due to his incredible strength Deception (Manipulates others, see OOT) Performance (He can rock the church Organ, see OOT) Arcana (Very magically adept) Background: Noble of a desert kingdom, seeks even more power. Flaws: Arrogant and considers himself above others. Bond: He desires infinite strength Personality: Quite aloof and manipulative. Equipment: Greatsword(?) Belt of Giant Strength(?) (Triforce) Noble's Clothes. He's not someone you can play at level 3. That's the best I can do.

I tried to come up with the class for everybody but you actually made the whole sheat I'm impressed. I took a different approach, lore over fighting syle, semi-echo's like Luigi need to be a different class, when in doubt Baird. Also I don't know much about Dnd I'm an older newcomer, with my love of square race round class. With that in mind, I thought Mario and Luigi should be a Fighter and a Rouge, but I don't want to go into deales. I want to talk about how I came up with Paladin for Samus. She weres thick armor she's religious and her charge shot and missiles might be represented as spells. So Samus is a Palladian with orange plate armor who uses a crossbow.

I would argue that Mario could be a Way of the 4 Elements monk, or he could use the magic initiate feat for fire bolt and ray of frost and then taking Jump for the spell. Probably Wizard or Sorcerer for the spell list.

@@MerryMaddMen I would say Dreams Druid but... Druid's don't get Sleep? Seems odd. But I don't think Bard exactly fits because Jigglypuff's song isn't really inspiring or charming like most Bard abilities suggest. I think Arcane Trickster would actually be a better fit. Take Sleep, Feather Fall, and Illusory Script for first-level spells. Mage Hand, Friends, and True Strike(I guess?) for cantrips. Play a Tiefling for that Thaumaturgy microphone. Roll around the battlefield with your cunning action dash, and hit your sleeping foes with that big damage sneak attack.

Mario isn't human, he's Italian. Also it took me a minute to remember that Ultimate Link is Breath of the Wild Link, which is what you're using for inspiration. That totally makes sense as a Battlemaster, yeah, that's perfect. If one was trying to represent a more old-school Link from the SNES-N64 era, the kind of Link that has a magic meter and gets magic spells across his journey, I think that variation of Link could also be well-represented by Eldritch Knight if that was more what you wanted to focus on.

Of course, I would also like to see mini-campaigns at least in the form of a basic synopsis, like... ...extraplanar Italian plumber goes to the Mushroom Kingdom using a magical maguffin called a warp whistle. Princess rules as regent, but is captured by an evil tortle with the powers of a dragon. Said plumber must stop the tortle and save the princess. Gavin Li Well, the biggest issue with him is the Monado, but in terms of character abilities: high strength and intelligence (highest damage output and being one of the smartest people in his universe), moderate dexterity and wisdom (because I honestly have no clue what to give these) and low constitution & charisma (due to low HP and a poor ability to read social cues). As for his class, I’m thinking a paladin (divine smite could work as a Monado buster, lay on hands could work as a light heal) with great weapon fighting as his fighting style. If others want to improve this basis, go ahead EDIT: His feat would probably be magic initiate, getting shocking grasp as a form of Monado purge and maybe ray of frost as a Monado eater. As for Paladin spells, you’d have to break the rules a bit and have 2 prepared spells instead of just 1, but they’d be bless (as Monado enchant does slightly increase damage) and shield of faith (as Monado shield/armour). As for speed & cyclone, I have no clue EDIT: As for his subclass, oath of vengeance. I believe it speaks for itself 3rd edit: I completely forgot that Magic Initiate also grants you a 1st level spell, so expeditious retreat shall be the spell for a Monado speed. Now, if only I could find something for Monado cyclone...

I'm glad you made Link a fighter. I wouldn't say he's a bard considering he only has one (or two at most) magical item(s) per game, and he himself has never had any talent for using spells. Lady Palutena is quite literally a goddess in the lore, so best argument I can make is put her in the pantheon or as a Cleric. Pit would be a Dex-based Paladin with a longbow, two shortswords/scimitars, probably either leather armor, or multiclass into monk for unarmored defense, high Dex, maybe moderate Strength, moderate Con, slightly below average Int, slightly above average Wisdom, and moderate Charisma. Folk Hero background, and Race is Aasimar, Protector, seeing as he is an angel, a half-Celestial is the best we can do

Actually, that "Urban Bounty Hunter" background you mentioned in Samus's section also works for Captain Falcon. While he is, indeed, a racer, a lot of the F-Zero characters do racing in F-Zero as a side thing. Captain Faicon is both an accomplished racer and "the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy", and he has plenty of enemies as a result of that. Also, this was really awesome and I'd love to see more videos like this, but for other franchises, like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, etc.

The fire emblem characters will be super easy for the most part as most are going to be fighters or paladins (since Marth, Chrom and Lucina all have divine based powers). Ike could actually be made a Ranger/Fighter multiclass due to his starting class in his first game actually being ranger. Robin is easily a Wizard/Fighter multiclass.

Roy has low con because he has low hp growth in his game. He also may have an enchanted long word with fire damage. Ike can have a greatsword, with possibly the charger feat? And Marth can have a rapier, while Lucina can have a Longsword, with the possibility of having a spear due to multi classing in awakening.

For Samus, you might want to consider Outlander as a background, it does list bounty hunter as one of the options there. If you want a more Zero Suit take, Swashbuckler Rogue fits quite well there, letting you be both proficient with the whip and the hand crossbow. For Captain Falcon, custom backgrounds kind of fit best there. The big thing would be proficiency with ground vehicles and/or handle animal to cover the racing part a bit more.

Link is also my favorite Smash hero, besides some of the Fire Emblem characters. I would argue his Intelligence should be higher since he's all about solving puzzles. Maybe knock his Wisdom down instead, since he's not very insightful a lot of the time. If your DM allows gunpowder in his setting, try to get some bombs, but otherwise, alchemist's fire could work as a substitute. I would suggest that maybe Samus would work better as a half-elf or some other mixed race (Aasimar?) because of the Chozo's alterations to her DNA. Also, you would have to take a 2 level dip in Druid to get Wildshape. Great stuff so far! I look forward to the second episode! :D

Hey, man. Huge F-Zero nerd here. Captain Falcon is a very mysterious bounty hunter that's constantly on the trail of Black Shadow (and where defeating the gods of his realm in a race is the norm? Look into F-Zero GX for that). So, chances are, Soldier would probably do best with him in that regard. That said, if you want to go with F-Zero GP Legend's portrayal of Falcon (which is the anime), then you have to understand that Captain Falcon isn't only one person, as it is a title that the previous Falcon bequeaths to another individual when they either die or retire. This was done in the famous scene from the anime, where Falcon does his signature Falcon Punch (which you used in the video). In the anime, he isn't really a bounty hunter, but seen as more as a public figure that assists the Mobile Task Force (basically the car police) in stopping Black Shadow, Zoda, and the Dark Million Organization. If you want to go with that idea, then Folk Hero would probably do best.
