Looks great. Funny you mentioned people say mayo ruins the sauce. I don't eat ketchup. I saw a recipe with mayo, Dijon mustard and some other junk that looked good. Surprised there were no sliced onions but still fit to eat.

Smashed Burger is different animal from a Flame-Grilled Burger ...... but both delicious ! My only compliant is where is the onions ?? thankfully you saved me with siracha ....the wings on any burger

Use parchment paper or wax paper in between the patty and press to prevent sticking. I just heard those products contain forever chemical or PFAS. You might be onto something keep it simple, nothing fancy. Heck them grills be fancy. Makes me hungry Love your channel

Parchment paper ontop of each meatball before smash prevents sticking to the smasher.

Roll the meatballs once and then smash them burgers. Wait till you have a crust but it helps with sticking.

Just an fyi: a little spray of Pam, or some melted butter, on your preferred smashing device makes things way easier.

Fun Fact: When I worked at Wendy's from 1981-1983 we made our burgers smash style long before it was cool to do so.

and "smashed" meant an entirely different thing back then.

@@bbqpitboys still the same concept. Our burgers were fresh and not frozen so we plopped them on the grill, seared one side, flipped it, and smashed the thing until it was twice it's original size.

I don't know. I like the heat included. But not with bacon. Takes away from the flavor of bacon personally speaking of course. With the normal greens yeah. Lettuce, onions, mushrooms. Add the Heat. But not with Bacon. Ah well. Still looks delicious

As a smashburger connoisseur and have made 1000’s of them myself. You need more sear on that first side. It will enhance your burger experience, try it. Give this a try as well, put those buns in that bacon grease and put a sear on those as well.
