A major factor is the demand from fans. Lots of people request certain artists on certain stations. Those stations cater to those fans so that they can gain and keep listeners. I'll give you an example. Post Malone featured legendary metal artist Ozzy Osbourne on one of his tracks. Because Post Malone is among the most popular artists at this time, most, if not all, radio stations are playing that particular song- including stations that are known for playing hard rock or heavy metal music. It may also vary by region. For example, in the Scandinavian area of Europe, you might find more artists like Smash Into Pieces, Nightwish, Amaranthe, and Delain because they're not only popular over there, but also native to one of those countries. Nightwish is from Finland, and as a result, their music is more likely to be featured on local music stations versus other artists. Here in the US, the most likely non US rock or metal artists we might hear on the radio are Ozzy Osbourne (British) and Rammstein (German). Why? They fit a certain audience appeal. Last point: New releases from upcoming albums. Most stations repeat singles off of new albums from popular artists. In my area, the local rock/metal station was blasting "Hardwired" by Metallica and "Under The Graveyard" by Ozzy Osbourne after those tracks were released pending the new albums. It's also a way to promote those artists' material.

I remember in late March of 2022, I first heard this band when going to a Starset concert in Kansas City with my best friend. They we're touring with Red, Fame on Fire, and of course, Smash Into Pieces. This is easily the song from SIP that popped out most to me from the live performance. Absolutely loved it

This mans voice is so freaking amazing. Listening to him makes me tear up. His tone, enunciation, dynamics, is like no other. ye voice is good but their lyrics are a bit childish and pseudo deep. "the harder you fall down, the stronger you come back later" is obviously pseudo deep. No, if you hit the gorund too hard you die. If you lose everything at once, chances are you "fall down" too hard and die from it. Suicide is no joke. Just one of the lines that are a bit weird. But overall great sound
