Carlos I think you’d enjoy reading ASOIAF, there’s a lot more religion in the books and you get several character POVs that are extremely devout to different gods/religions and it’s super interesting to read. Also pretty much every character is more morally grey in the books - especially Jon and Tyrion. Jon’s actually very different in the books; he’s very witty and sarcastic and intelligent and quite arrogant. Book Jon is an ambitious and pragmatic politician, not as much of a warrior compared to his show counterpart. He and Dany’s personalities were sort of swapped in the TV show, and book Jon is actually more similar to Jaime than Ned, especially as the books go on. Also Tyrion is a villain in the books, so circa the end of s4 his arc goes in drastically different places between GoT and the books. The books also have a lot more magic than the show; for example many characters have prophetic dreams and visions, and all of the Stark children besides Sansa are skinchangers and can warg into their direwolves. It’s heavily implied that when Jon dies at the end of the last book, he wargs into Ghost. Would say a drawback is that the characters are a lot younger which makes relationships like Jon/Ygritte and Dany/Drogo a lot more gross in the books - especially Dany/Drogo in book 1 - as they are nonconsensual and Jon and Dany are underage in both instances. Another drawback is that the books might not be finished :/ On the plus side, if they do get finished the ending will be very different from the show. I would highly encourage you to read the books if you get the chance!! They sort of end around s5-s6, but there’s a ton of changes starting in book / season 2 and like 90% of the last two books weren’t even adapted.

I'm pretty confident that I would love the books however... I can't bring myself to read them knowing there's no telling when the series is gonna be finished 😞

Guys I found your channel, when I was searching for 'The Bound and The Broken' book series related videos and I came across your "Of Blood and fire" discussion Video and I absolutely loved it and it was so fun. Then I found out there aren't any related videos like Discussion of Book 2 or Book 3..... Guys please do the rest of the Series, do Book 2 "Of Darkness and Light" long format Video.

I’m not a big fan of third act break ups eithereither. Alot of the times I feel like the couple is doing so well and then all of a sudden here comes some random conflict and they have to break up because the book ends in three chapters and we need some else to push them over the edge 😢 why??? It stresses me out to much lol
