That's not true. You only need one or the other, it doesn't matter which one.

It's the same deal for almost everything, except for iron-only moves. The rails take one of the cheapest materials every 8 - 9 frames, TNT takes a couple of your cheapest material every use, etc. The D-Throw, D-Air, and the minecart itself. The Crafting table also takes materials to summon. If I'm not mistaken, it takes two of your cheapest materials every time it teleports to you, regardless of whether it was destroyed and automatically came back, or if you did the shield+B input to get it back. This could pose an issue if you get unlucky with the timing.

It makes sense because the gold and the red stone in used to make the actual powered rail and the iron is used to make the cart to ride on.

He’s a big brain character, but there’s no irony in that given how Minecraft is as a game. The PvP setting in Minecraft is full of big brain plays and strategies, then you’ve got Manhunts which implement tons of new strategies to outsmart your opponents. Whether you like Dream or not, Manhunt changed up people’s perception of Minecraft in quite a unique way. (For the record, I myself don’t like Dream, but I acknowledge his skill.)

His vertical recovery distance is convoluted but decent, and his horizontal recovery distance is excellent. The problem is that he is very vulnerable while recovering, especially if you don't want to spend a bunch of resources while getting back. And remember, if you place blocks offstage, your opponents can stand there too and hit you.

To be clear, I like this guide and I think you give a lot of good advice. However, whenever you do drop your opinions, I think you're overblowing how bad Steve's options are in general, but especially at 11:56. If they double jump above you, you have tons of tools to deal with it considering how ridiculous his juggling game is with U-tilt and U-air, and then they won't have a double jump. Just because those moves don't always send at the same angle doesn't mean they're not good moves, just look at their insane frame data. I think you'll probably eat your words about Steve pretty soon, especially given his recent victories at tournaments. Obviously there's matchup inexperience, but there's also tons of room for growth that I think will stay on pace with if not outpace the increase in matchup experience.

The elytra up-b can be optimized better if you hold up at the start, and when you are a block away from where you launch, tap down and you go flying really high with some nice horizontal distance Steve should be facing straight forwards while going upwards Try and do it as late as possible after the start because you might just mess up Also, when you mash A, the character model gets rid of the elytra and spaz out which increases the ledge grab distance which always works if you are just near the ledge. haha u got it

I’m so glad someone is showing loop setups at 0% But, little do ppl know they can lead to kill confirms from 0%, obviously depending on weight, or which setup u use. There are 3 main ones. A d-throw setup, d-tilt setup, and a side b setup. The kills will come from any of your smash attacks or another fair spike off stage, any of these might not kill but d-smash, f-smash, or the fair might not kill in which case it’s an ez edge guard.

Everyone saw that one game theory video with the gold blocks and shulker boxes right?, But with the addition of netherite there's now a block heavier than gold every full block in minecraft is 1 cubic meter which means 1 gold block weighs 19.3 tons and each gold block is crafted with 9 ingots so divide 19.3 tons by 9 and you get the weight of a single ingot, 2.14444444 tons netherite ingots are crafted with 4 gold ingots which makes 1 netherite ingot 4x as heavy (8.57777776 tons) multiply that by nine to get the weight of a netherite block which is 77.19999984 tons also a single slot can stack up to 64 so one inventory slot of netherite blocks makes 4940.79998976 tons but you can make this even more insane by adding shulker boxes into the mix which makes you able to fit 27 stacks into one slot so multiply 4940.79998976 tons by 27 and you get 133401.599724 tons but we're not done yet that's just one slot in the inventory there are 37 aviable inventory slots including the off-hand multiply 133401.599724 tons by 37 and you get 4935859.18977 tons but that's not including a full set of netherite armor as we stated before a single netherite ingot weighs 8.57777776 tons a netherite helmet uses 5 ingots which is 42.8888888 tons, a chestplate uses 8 ingots which is 68.62222208 tons, leggings use 7 ingots which is 60.04444432 tons and boots use 4 ingots which is 34.31111104 tons all together that's 205.86666624 tons add that to our grand total from earlier and you get 4936065.05644 so that's just how much steve can lift just with that alone he can already one punch most of the fighters in smash even if they all had their canonical power too.

Am I really the only one who thinks Steve isn't viable? Look at how difficult it is to pull off these combos. His range is tiny and easily punishable and even if you manage to do all these uairs with perfectly timed blocks and minecarts, all of it is subject to breaking or failing due to lack of resources. I love the idea of Steve but I actually think he needs a bit of buffing and overall fine tuning.
