Smashburger NEW Chicken Smash Burger & IMPROVED Tenders Review

Smashburger has EIGHT new or new-ish items on the menu and a few improved ones, and these two stuck out as things I had to try. Let's dig into a chicken smash burger & their improved chicken tenders.

I wish we had Smashburger here. I love Archie's Flat-top Grill, but it's just one location, doesn't open until 11am, and it's a 3-bus trip for me. I actually went to Culver's as they open at 10am here and I wanted to be back home by 11am. It's been 2 years since I was last there. I always considered them over-priced and over-rated. I had a coupon for a BOGO Free Doble-Deluxe, plus a few single Butter-burgers for my Mom. I was actually shocked at how much I liked them. Lots of flavor, great lacy-crispness. The person who cooked them did a great job. Still not going to make me a regular, but in a pinch, it's close to home, the bus stop is across the street, in front of Mc Donald's, so I can get Culver's burgers, McDonald's fries and get on the bus straight back. If we had a few Smashburger's here, they would be worth the stop.

Smashburger is very good. Never had a bad item there. It is overpriced though. Their burgers are very good and the chicken is better or on par than a lot of places that pride themselves on chicken. Their scorchin chicken is the way to go though over the regular. It is a Nashville style coating and surprisingly good.

I love smashburger, but you can’t get anything on a kids cheeseburger. Not even ketchup. Even if you pay extra. That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard in fast food.

I don’t think they have the largest footprint and they’re a little pricey. I think this menu revitalization is part of them trying to grow more.

Dude I know you have the option to go local all the time? Charlotte ain’t it most of the time for anyone outside of Charlotte and no one wants to go there.
