Most chippies in Scotland are Italian pal and aye, we batter pretty much anything. The best things to eat out of a Scottish Chippy is King Rib Supper or a 1/2 Deep Fried Pizza Supper. Or a Jumbo Smoked Sausage (in batter obviously lol) . Btw, Inverness is alright, it's near y hometown but that's a killer of a drive for a HGV up the A9 especially in the dead of winter. A classic example of how something as simple as a ratchet strap can cause such devastation. Great vlog, yeah even at 50mph then not much time to notify anyone within 10 seconds, especially with the blowout to deal with as well, unless on the rear axle of a trailer. only real way would be to have a passenger doing communications, but looking at the state of the truck I think you were lucky there wasn't a passenger in the cab with you. haggis is also nice as a cooked breakfast as well or haggis, gammon, eggs, beans, and black pudding. just chop the haggis into slices like black pudding, and fry it in the frying pan on a low/medium heat usually about the same if not slightly longer than gammon, possibly better if you can to cook in the same fat as the gammon. I keep forgetting whether I like haggis or not, especially now parents, and grandparents rarely go to Scotland now with grand parents in their mid 80's. but still nice to have it when having a banging cookup. the other good thing about the haggis is it gets rid of some of the saltiness of the gammon. either that or parents don't buy gammon litterally coated in 10 tonnes of salt like they used to do.

Great video mate keep them coming 👍👍😁😁

What I always would say. In the end of the day, it is more important that you, the crew of the escorts and the two other truck drivers are all okay. No injures or serious wounds. Yeah, Im a person that value safety of everyone that is working around or with me a lot more higher then anything else. I mean what good is a truck with a trailer of cargo if there is no one that is able to drive it (Not that Im a truck driver, but I still have my huge respect to them. @Deady20124 жыл бұрын
I take as much room as i need. I don’t try and squeeze through gaps. Mirrors you look at automatically. Same with blind spots. It becomes second nature to check your mirrors from the moment u sit behind the wheel of a HGV.

Mint video mate, quick question, when you finished at 19.00 after 13 hours, you said your putting your card back in at 04.00 so 9 hours rest, is that classed as one of your reduced rests, if so seeing as tho you did 13 hours work couldn’t you of had an 11 hour rest instead so it wouldn’t of wasted one of your reduced rests
@Deady20124 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is a reduced, but i wanted to start early the next day, that gives me an easier shot at a 15 hour day. If i start at 6am i have to work until 9pm to get a 15, no where is open then so if i have something to deliver it usually means parking up early, like 7pm... then its only a 13 again.

It’s alright when your tramping. It sucks on day work though. I dont like working over 13 hours on days. No fun at all.
