I love estuary foraging as well. I use a little punt to carry kit, I spear, hook and net and the .357 rifle is to keep the crocodiles away. I live in North Queensland Australia. Thanks Smash.

Wow nice looking lobster. Nice night for a foraging trip as far as the bass we have freshwater, largemouth and smallmouth bass, which are very dark in color, and then we have the saltwater bass which we call stripers, and they have to be a good size to keep but we can catch all other kinds of fish from the shore or out on the boat and if we go out on the big boat deep sea cod, haddock scope, eel, halibut redfish. We have a lot that we can take from the big boats and I don’t mean commercial but these are just regular trip deep-sea boats cause they have to be so many inches long, but go to abide by the rules.😂😂😂❤❤❤❤

Have you experimented with different coloured light? I haven't, but wonder if it might make a difference, as red light is good for watching/seeing wildlife on land.

Guernsey never passed a law for shore caught fish , boat is banned the same.

Was gonna say, we have minimum landing caught laws, no bass during thier spawning season. So a Comercial licence means you can keep any bass any size? Cuz supermarkets sell bass WAY under 42 CM

Quick beginner question : the thorax of the lobster... don't you have stuff in there you need to remove that you can't eat? Did you just eat the guts and frills and stuff or forgive me, am I wrong ?

Great question, I’m the tail there is a digestive track you don’t have to take it out but most do , the gills are the bit you don’t want to eat mate the rest is fine but not my favorite
