Cajun Tortellini
Ingredients:
Bag of Five cheese Tortellini
1 1/2cups Heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cup of fresh Parmesan reggiano
1cup Romano grated cheese
1 Tbsp of butter
5oz of cream cheese
1/2 shallot minced
4 Boneless skinless chicken thighs
5 cloves of garlic minced
Cajun seasoning
Garlic salt
Onion powder
Slap ya mama seasoning
Directions:
For the chicken: season with above seasonings on both sides then sauté in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat in 6Tbsp of olive oil. Cook until the temperature reaches 165 then set aside until ready to combine with tortellini.
For Tortellini: Boil as directed on package
For the Cajun Alfredo sauce:
In a sauce pan on medium low heat add 1 Tbsp of butter. Once melted add shallots & minced garlic to the pan and saute for 3-4 minutes. Next add cream cheese and allow to melt. Then add heavy whipping cream and cook on medium low heat until smoothly combined. Next add your Parmesan cheeses. Heat for another five minutes until combined stirring occasionally. Then season with above seasonings to your desired taste. After combine sauce with tortellini and top it off with the chicken and enjoy!
