Danny Maciel which means you just celebrated your 25th birthday about a month back. Happy belated. I wonder if you heard it and felt the sound of the room?🤔

Five months are you sure? Or was it the night she got pregnant? Billy might be your father bro.

Just listen to the way James came in at 2:38. Magical
@lordberly4 жыл бұрын
I wonder why he didn't put that on the original record
@kevinperlow45953 жыл бұрын
Because it's an entirely different version of the song. It wouldn't necessarily fit in with the use of the violin and cello. That's essentially why the acoustic guitar is heavily used in the original track. Simplistic yet profound.
@lightofwinter18203 жыл бұрын
@@kevinperlow4595 it's a great groove tho. there's an alt version of Spaceboy kinda like this, with I think James playing slide

It must of have been the last day of school before Christmas or something, because we'd gone bowling. When we'd finished, I remember walking into town alone, through a fairly determined blizzard, to make sure I managed to get Disarm on 7". After clinging it close to my chest for an hour, I got home and put it on, and of course knew it was worth the walk, and the cold. I loved the b-side Siamese Dream too, but I remember thinking, at 15 years of age, nothing could touch my nerves, my heart and my brain more deeply than when Billy Corgan sings 'I used to be a little boy'. I was at least 90% right.

God they were so above the rest. If there is one band that doesn't get the praise they deserve is SP. Hope the rumours of a reunion are true. Not that the new line up is bad, it just seems Billy is uncomfortable. Being with the ones who went through the storm together might be good

I hate how everyone always says stuff like this. There was JUST as much bad music back then as there is now, it just didn't stand the test of time and you don't see any of it today. You're seeing the past through rose tinted glasses, when it was just the same as now. There are still good bands out there putting out heartfelt bits of poetry like they used to, and always have been.

@@devonoffutt3384 i agree i hate when boomers think that there must be absolutely 0 good music out when all they’re doing is listening to the top 40 to make that judgement.
