This perfectly captures what is so special about the pumpkins: the heaviness and softness transition seamlessly and often happen at the same time. Guess it came out of fuzz rock. I know a lot of people hate his voice, but it’s a big part of what makes that work.

Martius Picus It really wasn't that great man. Grunge was burning out by this point and that was really all that was happening. Everything was rehashed and changing. We all listened to 80's punk/hardcore, boy bands, west coast rap. It wasn't that great. I like smashing pumpkins now but Alternative got so overplayed and shitty. Also if you were into metal like I was all the bigger bands started releasing really shitty albums and it was not cool like it is now to be into metal.

I keep coming back to watch this. Forget what I said about the lyrics.. the song is perfect. What makes the Pumpkins cool is their mix of perfection and imperfection anyway
