Thank you for clearing everything up for me. I'm new to the softball bat world n I'm trying to learn as much as I can to give my daughter all the help she can get. We picked up a used 22 ghost double barrel for an amazing price but I am looking to get her a new bat in the future. She has power hitter strength. I was just wondering what your recommendation would be between advanced n unlimited. She currently uses a 32 drop 10. Thank you once again for the detailed info you provided

Thanks for the comments! For a power hitter, I would suggest the unlimited. The 1pc design is going to best transfer power from her swing to the ball.

My 7yr old "she hits hard" broke her 2023 ghost bat from using it daily, easton warranty it but I end up buying her a firefly for practice and now she using the ghost on GameDay, but I want this 2024 Ghost!

Would 10u kids benefit more on the advanced than unlimited? She swings her current 29/18 at 50-52 mph . Contact hitter but hits consistently to outfield. I like the idea of 1 piece for durability but want her to get the most out of her swing

the 2 piece standard ghost or the advanced would be best for a younger/smaller contact hitter. The flex of a 2 piece will help get some extra whip on a slower swing speed for increase distance.

It's out now. Pissed because I just used my Dicks Warranty Gift Card on the 2023 Ghost Unlimited ($499,) and then I walk in the store the other day and see the 2024 all light blue Ghost Unlimited sitting there!

Nine year-old daughter's been swinging a 2023 Prism for the past year, and we're finally wanting to upgrade her. She's on the smaller side (4'3", 60#) and swings a 29 (-11). We're looking at either the CF or Advanced. Thoughts on which might be better for her as a contact hitter who's building power?

The advanced would be best for her. I think the Ghost line might be the best when paired with smaller players with slower swing speeds (compared to high school or college level).

What would be your definition of an experienced player? My daughter has a 2022 advanced, swings with power, looking into a 33 drop 10. She is starting to hit over 200 foot fences, incoming freshman high-school. 2024 advanced or 2023 unlimited is what I'm trying to figure out.

Hey Scott, great question. If your daughter has been playing for a few years, I would consider her experienced. As you may know, the new Ghost Unlimited is coming very soon. For a true power hitter, I would suggest the unlimited.

They're all double barrels. I think you mean "two piece." The Unlimited is a 1 piece (no connection point visible,) but it still has double barrel technology.

You didn't say what year the easton ghost unlimited 1 piece you showed. I was looking on the websites for it and all I see is 2022 or 2023. I did find that bat on amazon but it says aluminum, Is there a 2024 easton ghost unlimited out.

The Ghost Unlimited was only made as a 2023 model and it is composite, not aluminum. Not sure what you found on Amazon, but that listing would be incorrect. I believe there will be a 2024 Unlimited, but it wont be out until probably the summer.

Good day, may I know what bats are allowed if you are joining a slowpitch softball tournament?? What specific stamp should I look out? ASA/USA and may I know the non approved bats for slowpitch softball tournaments?

If the tournament is a USA/ASA tournament you can use any USA or ASA approved slowpitch softball bat If the tournament is USSSA you can use any 240 compression USSSA approved slowpitch bat

What's the biggest difference between the ghost double barrel vs the unlimited? And which one has the biggest barrel?

The Ghost Double Barrel is a different composite and a 2pc bat meaning it will have more flex when swinging the bat. That flex on slower swing speeds will help the ball propel off the barrel better. The Unlimited is a 1pc which is extremely stiff and going to best benefit a power hitter with faster swing speeds. They both have similar sized barrels, but visually the unlimited looks longer because it does not have the connection piece of the double barrel.

The new model is promising to be more durable that previous models. But it is a trade off durability vs performance. If you want the best performing bat on the market. The Ghost is your answer. Also, The ghost should last at least an entire season if it is being used properly. They should never be used in batting cages. And should not be used too much in practice. If you use the Ghost every day in practice you are potentially putting over 500 swings on it per week. Most players don't hit a ball 500 times in a year in games.

Can a bat be too long for a girl? Is a 34” more of a men’s bat? For example would a 15 year old girl be better off with a 33” drop 9 versus a 34” drop 10? You explain what type of hitter needs a certain drop but what about length?

length is determined more by size. In a perfect world you want to swing the longest heaviest bat you can for the most power. But not everyone can swing the heaviest longest bat and that is OK. Swing the bat that you can.

pretty much ready to go out of the wrapper. 10-20 swings to get use to the bat is fine. But I would not go more than that.
