@@高宇中 possibly due to being rushed as same with smaug Peter Jackson wanted a robotic head to work with close up shots with him and bilbo but he was rushed so he is full cgi but for a giant battle like BOTFA it was too much to get all the detail in so it looks very cheap in most scenes

@ Wilson. Glad to know I am not the only one. I read the Lord of the rings trilogy first. When I tried to read The Hobbit afterwards, I just got bored, bored and pissed off at every characters motivations. After reading some of the epilogue in the return of the king, I felt a little more charitable towards Gandalf. At least I could sympathize with his plan. But the dwarves pissed me off. So did the elves.

@@morningstar7401 That’s fine!😀. You are allowed to like things that others don’t. And, after writing what I wrote ^. I rather think that may have been Tolkien’s point. I think we are supposed to come away pissed off about the way the characters acted. It shows what Greed and selfishness does to people. Because, NO ONE came out of that affair smelling like roses not Dwarves, Elves or Men
