Dude, I was in a fight (HW) where as an underdog against a really, really good fighter, I hit him with my best ever uppercut and he hit his face at maximum velocity in a massive spin right on a canvas level mobile camera. It was fucking horrific. I tore his left lip past his nose and it caught on the camera going down. It tore all the way up to his eye. I've been stabbed twice and shot once and I've never seen that kind of bleeding. Luckily, he didn't come to for a few minutes. It saved him even more brutal fucking pain. They had him on a stretcher in about 3 or 4 minutes heading for the door, thankfully. Holy shit was the guy screaming. I've had nightmares about that. Seeing someone screaming like they're getting eaten alive is horrible.. I wish he moved and inch or two to the left or right. Poor bastard. It's on several grossest knockouts ever compilation videos on KZbin. If I had the chance to do it over, I'd have him deliver the uppercut. I had a better chin and perhaps would have stayed up saving him that experience. It was worse than the Lennox Lewis vs Vital Klitchko uppercut. Yeah, I know. Cheers Edit: Also, mega props to the ref for doing a power ninja slide and trying to help as well. Everyone was on their game that night.

The K.O. ranked number 1 deserved number 1. Wood getting knocked down at the end of round 1 and getting punished at the first half of the fight were already too much to lose morale. There were times he looked he's about to quit after getting hit by several body shots that could make one think he will not survive the the round or the next. But then, he showed grit and the will to win up until the last round. And his resolve was rewarded.The fight was like a movie scene and could honestly make someone cry. 😁
