I’ve traded for years. Never found consistency until I accepted the fact that I’m a scalper. I tried being a swing trader, the break and retest strategy, reversals, etc. But as it turns out it’s really hard to be correct over a long period on the market. It’s much easier to be correct for 10 seconds to a minute.

Thank you SMB. I have watched many of your videos. actually I have watched many of them multiple times. Obviously I find them extremely helpful. I specifically enjoy when I watch one of your videos and realize it is something I had learned through great pains on my own. Wish I had watched the SMB video and saved myself all that pain. But, painful learning experiences obviously help a person develop winning trading strategies. I always look to your newest video releases as well as watching your video library. Keep them coming. After 2 years of painful experiences (with your help) I feel that this will be the year I turn the corner. I am determined to succeed. I have zero quit in me. So I will continue to watch the SMB videos because you folks are the real deal. Please keep them coming! Thanks again!

I am not wild about his example of increasing the risk dollars every week based on 60% winners. What if, due to normal variation in probabilities, the trader wins only 20% one week? And actually, I am not wild about sitting glued to the screen in high focus search for a specific pattern to occur. Only a small portion of my trades are really daytrades, and I'm looking at a better batting average than 60%. And for me, it's not so much about micro-managing quick chart patterns as in overall evaluation of stock opportunities. But yes, I AM a chartist. I think I have a lot less stress than those at their screens in this video.

@smbcapital4 ай бұрын
we understand PDT rule can be a challenge for a lot of newer traders who have smaller accounts. It's definitely harder to trade scalps where you are in and out. If someone really wants to get to the 25K mark then sometimes you'll have to work harder and longer to earn more money. A second job is sometimes necessary or you will have to slowly build up your trading account.
