auto focus is killer. you have a lot of static shots, so flip your cam into manual and get the focus correct then just note the data so you can replicate it later. should help, love the content!

The total runtime for all of the finished animations is kind of a sobering number. I might’ve assumed that 16 minutes of animation could be completed in a couple of days if you didn’t detail everything that went into them. I’m realizing that it’s not necessarily a personal reflection on me if my projects take quite a bit longer than I would like them to. This whole challenge looked brutal, but I appreciate you sharing this experience.

Next time don't forget to use constraints. They are really powerful and help you save a lot of time. E.g if you wanna pick up an object just use the child of constraint. You can use multiple constraints as per the requirements like if you want to change transforms of 1 object based on the transform of another object. These mechanisms help a lot and provide you an automated system for animation.

always make sure you're doing blender with a positive mindset, remember why you started blender all those years ago. Bcs srslynothing but blender for hours on end will kill you on the inside. You'll be eager to come back the next day if you remember having a positive time. But if you have a 7 hour nonstop blender session, the next day you'll... uninstall blender?

Great video! 🙌 I'd love to know more about using the animation presets you we're using? Does an animation get automatically get stored as an action and then I can reapply it to another object? This does out of the box only work for "simple" animations like loc/rot/scale, am I right? Thank you!
