This video is proof that knowing blender makes you adaptable at mixing all media forms together. While it is superseded by Maya in the current game industry, what I predict is as the 30+ year seniors retire out, and the videogame industry evolves as large studios lose to new small studios with innovative games, the younger generations are going to make Blender the future standard with prominent addons in the same way that 90's kids made cracked photoshop an Adobe a standard. I am learning blender because it gives me the ability to tell a story, and also 3d printing exists, VR is only going to grow, and CNC machine shops use programs that are fairly similar if I ever needed abackup career

Not sure if anyone has any insight…I downloaded a premade model of an animal….which lucky for me was rigged and ready for animating….so I animate it in blender…looks good nice and smooth…when export it…either to .usd or .fbx….i get a janky animated model out of it…almost like it’s created a low poly version….help 🤪

Out of context question please. How do you create such easy animation in your videos? It makes the youtube video so much more entertaining. Are you using after effects?

Its interesting that this video can be applied to almost anything

This is starting to sound like Moho where you have smartbones and actions. The actions can be layered on top of each other so that one action might have a character closing their hand into a fist and the other action might have the hand fanning their fingers outward. Each action is tied to a bone that acts like a dial. Then you can mix the two. Or three or four or how many you want controlling the particular animation.

Nice clickbait. But maybe I will sign:) Question, if I am already 3 years in gamedev brand, and have already 5 games in my portfolio. But I still want to improve my 3d skill is it worth?

im trying to do this on the most recent version of blender, but blend mode is not in the same place and with some research some people on forums told me that blend mode was replaced by render method (EEVEE) but is not true, even if I change that setting my mesh just looks as a transparent slate of deception lmao. HELP PLS

Still use Iclone for animation. I know it's expensive, so not every indie dev can get their hands on it (i donated plasma for 6 months to get mine!). But its soooo much better and eaiser to use than blenders toolset. Hope it changes, but, is what it is! Still love blender!

My level 1: learn blender thru 2 hours tutorial and memorize shortcuts and function thru blender infographics Outcome: I am "meh" at modelling, but my skill is adaptable by project. I use blender mainly for POSM mockups. Challenge: I am quite cunning in terms of adaptation. I always use blenderkit for materials, and sometimes I use premade objects as a supplementary element for my project. Outcome: I unlocked novice modelling, node management, animation and compositing. Overall results: I have casual relationship with blender. After all, I'm a graphic designer. I only use blender for mockup design and visualization. That's all. However, I really want to learn how to make characters, using toon materials and learn how to reduce my poly count.

I tried to find your course on Udemy. Too bad its on there, or I would have purchased it. I don't use Skillshare.

The free month of Skillshare is available for every new customer, nobody needs your link to get a free month. I understand that you want to earn a percentage but it is not necessary to lie! You should clearly state that they can use your link so that you can earn a commission. That would create trust in you.
