You'd think that with all the money they charge, you get some various spacers with the kit. I was suprised the 39$ Moog ball joints come with a replacement bolt for the ball joint pinch, but the Whiteline bump steer kit didn't.

Thanks for the video man. Dude I gave up on the these for the rear. You have pry the end link with 2 washers already installed back to slide the a 3rd in. It’s crazy. The three washers plus end link will not fit with out doing this. This was actually in the instructions too. Called Perrin same instructions from them also, 🤦. Lol. I just put stock ones back on for now. Not sure if anyone else has had to deal with this? Thanks in advance, lol.

@@Smeedia I just realized I guess I have loosen the shock bolt which will decompress the control arm some to allow for spacer room. I hope that makes sense lol. 🤷🤦 I’m using the polyurethane bushings. I call them solid end links. Like your front but for the rear.

Already have the rear one upgraded as well as all the chassis bracing in the rear. This was used to help even out the suspension a little more

What do you think about the whiteline front roll center bump steer correction kit. KCA313? A couple of people have recommended it but I want to get additional feedback before ordering it. I have a 2016 Subaru WRX Lowered on RCE yellows. I’m adding a rear Whiteline sway bar. Also considering bilstein dampers.

I have the front and rear whiteline sway bars on my 2016 wrx. It was a world of difference. I wish I would have changed out the end links while I was at it. At least I’m on the right track with my upgrades lol

They are auto zone Rhino Ramps, they've come in clutch for a lot of different jobs. Glad that the video was a help 🔥

Hey Man, I know this video is a bit old now but was looking for some insight, I've recently installed the same sway bar on my 2015 STI which is lowered but still not very low, I'm having issues with the sway bar scraping on steep angles and bumpy roads because it sits so low to the ground but by looking it seems to be setup the same as yours, have you had any issues like this? Or have a fix? Love your vids thanks

What fpr do you use? I have the cobb one and when idling I hear some sound that cycles on and off and seems to be coming from that area but I can only hear it from inside the cabin.

I'll check next time I'm in the car, Cobb Set the FPR for me when they tuned the car. They used their FPR which is an older GD FPR but they did it electronically

@@Smeedia hmm I had the car etuned after the install but idk if that is changed in that process. I'm asking him now. It only happens after car is all the way up to temp so it could be related to the coolant Idk. The engine bay is too loud imma need to buy a stethoscope 👨⚕️

What you're hearing is the fuel oscillations due to removing the stock FPR/damper lines. I hear it on my DIY fuel lines, similar to Cobb's, along with 1000cc injectors. It is totally normal.

@@admireinspire OCTurboJoe got it right on the money! Mine does the same, I've got the 1050 Cobb Injectors with their FPR and it's normal. I never really hear it over my exhaust but if the engines running with the hood open I can hear a little bit of it. I originally thought you were asking what my fuel.pressure was set to for some reason 🤣

Great vid, I just did this and now I have a squeak, when I turn at slow speeds, did you grease anything on the front? The instructions didn’t say anything needed it, I used the whiteline to ends so they look close to stock shape just bigger. Any ideas?

No grease, of your getting a squeak it could be from the endings not being fully horizontal or spaced properly when installed 🙏

Hey Friend, can you recommend 22mm Whiteline (F&R) on a ‘13 STI Hatch, instead of 24mm? I’m assuming your answer might be “bigger is better” but Whiteline offers a deal on 22s (F&R) with Endlinks. I do track twice a year and just looking to get less wagon feel. Thanks.

The 22mm is a great upgrade, factory is 20mm so your still getting a solid bump. I do believe that the front sway bar comes from the factory as a 22mm though

I don't know what year yours was, I probably missed it cuz I was kind of trying to seek in the video, but I noticed that the kit you have doesn't have that brass bracket that came with mine, that seems to hold the sway bar in place horizontally. Did yours just not come with that?

I reused the OEM brackets and just replaced the bushings 🙏 no real need to swap them unless they're provided. Or are you talking about the endlinks?

Same same for install, and I've only ever had issues with the whiteline endinks. Ball sockets kept breaking on me 😤

Man, it seems way easier to remove that subframe brace. Can you pull the factory skid plate off without removing the front fascia? Did you re-install the skid plate before you re-installed the fascia?

I dont have the OE Skid plate anymore, I have a chassis mounted splitter but you can install it without removing the number.

They should have given smaller spacers. Really annoying how Perrin and Whiteline manage to get the dimensions so ever slightly wrong on parts made specifically for a car that spans over a decade using the same sway bars

With the chassis bracing I have and the bags it evens out pretty well for coilovers you'd want a little diffrent set up. Personally I prefer the resr to be stiffer as well as it helps reduce under steer 😁

Nice! I’m actually thinking about getting some endlinks since I just lowered the car. I don’t really have to much bump steer granted I don’t track or drive the car hard yet. But what would your recommendation be. Roll center before endlinks or endlinks? My 03 does have the stock endlinks with 137k miles.

If your running after market sway bars I would suggest swapping out endlinks first, if your still on the stock sway bar go for the roll center first.

@@Smeedia So as of now, I'm stage 2 I guess. Pro-tuned, Process West TMIC, Grimmspeed EBCS, ETS Full Turboback (non-catted), Mishimoto Intake and a bit more. To go in next (already bought).. Flex Fuel kit, TGV/EGR deletes, Killer Bee Exhaust Headers with dual wastegates, and AEM fuel pump, STI Trans mount- and a few other smaller bits. Hoping for 400 WHP when all is installed and re-tuned. Suspension is next on the list- which is why this video was SUPER helpful, man! LOVE your Subie!

@@Smeedia Sweet, yeah. Its actually hawkeye front end converted as well. Just wanted to build something different I guess. I've been working on it for like 7 years lol. I moved to CA 5-6 years ago and just moved back this summer so the car sat abandoned all that time. She's gonna take a lot of work to get back to show quality but it'll be fun shooting the content along the way.
