It's a simple exchange between someone and his therapist, the joke follows a very well known format that is very popular in social media all around the internet and by your _knowledge_ of how they work, the joke would still make as much sense as it does now. Both you and the other guy nitpicking the joke have made *a lot* of assumptions on the context of the joke, and of the song for that matter. For one you've both interpreted the song as being "happy" and are projecting that opinion onto what was said. For two you've both interpreted the joke as being about feeling happy and not being a bit emotionally numb, as antidepressants often do. For three you've both decided to become all high and mighty about a lighthearted attempt at comedy. Even then, the whole point of a joke is to make someone else laugh, and it doesn't need to make sense to accomplish that.
