I really like the way you built background to let viewers know what they can expect in your stages of explanation. You are one of thise five reviewers who could open eyes of my mind & give power to see notes (without physically sniffing you see!) coming and fading for each note level of fragrance while you explain. Worth time to invest in your videos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😇👍🏼

I am glad Ankit that I can help you visualize and get a feel for the fragrance my friend. With so many fragrances I think it is important to give the viewer an idea of what to expect when they sample a fragrance or better still which ones to sample after all. Thanks for the continued support my friend :).

This is great stuff, AC. Thank you for taking the time out to bring the lesser discussed houses to our notice.

Pleasure my friend, this house is impressing me, and the owner, Murat got in touch with me on Instagram, apparently he enjoyed the review :).

That's great, AC ! Your superb reviews are crossing not just the Seven Seas, but the Bosphorus as well ! Great going, my friend ! Nishane's line seems to be flying under the radar. It's Munegu does come up in Top X lists (especially patchouli lists). I was intrigued by Boszporusz (mostly for the name...:-), Bosphorus is just so Istanbul) and Sultan Vetiver (because, as you know, my hunt for a sparkling vetiver, a.k.a, classic Guerlain Vetiver with better performance, is still on). I'm still in two minds as anything that has an oriental spice is not high on my list - firstly because I already have a few of them, and secondly because, as I've told you the window during which I can wear these perfumes is only about 2-3 months in a a year (and that too only in the evenings). But by all accounts, Nishane perfumes do seem to suggest an emphasis on quality and performance. Have a very good Sunday, AC !

I see what you mean by your comment and absolutely agree. I think you like green scents and brighter woody ones so that it copes with your weather conditions. I have actually sampled Sultan Vetiver ( Javanese spicy vetiver), this will not meet your urge to seek out sparkly vetiver. I infact remember you whenever I sample Vetiver now. The other day I sampled Sel de Vetiver by the different company and was thinking about your requirement. Your assessment on Nishane is Spot on!

Thank you very much for keeping me in mind on vetiver fragrances, AC. You are spot-on on my inclinations towards different types of fragrances. The two extremes - citrus (generally speaking, of course) and spice/heavy - I find it difficult for a fragrance to have a pull. The former because there's so much that's come out around the same ballpark (however, after your review, Galloway comes across as a standout), and the latter for the reason I have mentioned. It is the middle ground that I guess I gravitate towards. More choice, more variety, and more fragrances that stand apart from each other. I guess there's just more space there, in that middle, for diversity to emerge. Something like Creed's BdP blows me away. As do vintage / classic barbershop fragrances. Yes, I can't wear these in the high Summer heat, but that still leaves me 7-8 months of wearability ? Not to mention how well some of these are crafted and how well they evolve. Much appreciate your sage advice advice and your insights that are gleaned from almost two decades of perfume study, AC. Greatly appreciated, Sir !

Nice to read your lovely comment and I find myself in the same territory as you although living in a cold country I have the ability to wear more darker and thicker stuff I too get bored of it and start wearing bright woody scents in the middle of the winter. You are very well informed Sumant and its a pleasure to speak to you on fragrances, I am lucky to have you as a subscriber.

Thanks Daniel, yeah those anecdotes just make the videos interesting I guess.

@@ACSmellsGood I think so too. I try to incorporate some things like that in my reviews also, Like the history of the house, Perfumer or the fragrance itself.

Thanks for the review. I got to admit wasn't familiar with Turkish perfumery but the homage to Rumi is fitting considering at the time of death he was laid to rest in Turkey.

Thanks a lot my friend, so now I see the connect between Rumi and Turkey. I was also pleasantly surprised with Nishane, great quality fragrances TBH.

Thanks for the review AC not familiar with this house but always looking for houses with good performance seems disappointing their compositions are not unique smelling though. All the best mate.

Thank you Michael. I am hoping to discover at least one unique fragrance from this house. Lets see if I get there :).

I never thought I’d be impressed by Turkish parfumerie but this is a wonderful scent, a bit too sweet to buy a full bottle but a very nice frag nonetheless and it being extrait, the performance is beastly.

I agree this is a great house producing some real high quality and creative juices. I must have sampled about 5 of them and all of them are very good :). I truly enjoy the dry and fine tobacco note in Fan your flames.

Just realized I've watched this video 3 times and not commented haha! I've suggested this fragrance to two other reviewers. I love tobacco as a note, as a non smoker nonetheless. Coconut however is not my favorite, but this fragrance is wonderful :)
