I will never forget when i did something similar with these particles once at university for a homework and i got demolished how unoriginal it was xD. It was 6 years ago and still haunts me and the moment i saw this tutorial poppin up it's scares me how similar it is. Even the motions. But cool tutorial, i guess as a quick tip don't use this for a logo animation homework.

If you use like a dynamic link it should be fine. If you export h.264 it will have a black background, so you wanna set its mode to screen to remove the black

That's not supposed to happen. Try pixel motion blur instead

Don't add a solid layer as the background, you could render it as mov format or export as mp4 and remove the black background using extract effect for example. Another way is to add this composition above another video directly without rendering
