SMG Long Shots? - Sniper Elite 5: Axis Invasion

As requested, Sniper elite 5 axis invasion full gameplay using only the SMG. I tried to go for the longest shots I could with it, but as you'll see, things didn't always go to plan...

I've watched every single episode of your axis invasions, they are incredibly enjoyable. Personally I stopped playing this mode after about 50 successfull kills because I felt like my heart was jumping out of my chest every single time 😂

I love the STG 44/MKb 42 style of gun so much, not sure why but it just looks good while still remaining totally utilitarian and I love using them in WW2 games. Glad to see you giving it a run here :) I'm surprised it's classified as an SMG ingame though considering its still a full rifle firing a shorter 7.92 cartridge but I'm not complaining. Not really anything else to classify it as though although maybe they could've made it a less powerful Semi-Auto Rifle with Burst Capabilities and a Vampir Scope for some additional flavour.

And for the next one I can't remember if you've done a Video with the Drilling Shotgun before, I feel like you have but I can't find it on your channel. Otherwise a Gunslinger Build with the Win & Co 1885 and Webley Revolver could be quite fun or a Japanese One with the Type 100 and Nambu

It's classified as an SMG because it is the MP-44, which was the designation it had before the STG-44. The world's first assault rifle was a secret because they already had Sub Machine Guns and the powers that be thought it wasn't worth the effort.

At 2:53 if you look closely you can see the other allied sniper exit the building lol. Look at the bottom left of the screen. It’s like a millisecond

I really wish they would reduce the sniper glint, or chamge it to how it was in SE3, where the glint would only flash briefly if you aimed at the same location for too long.

You got me back into Karl hunting. It's mostly xbox players which is way too easy, which is why I switched to only using pistol (converted to long range carbine). You could give long range pistol a try for your next idea?

Good video Now go melee only with a knife on a rifle. Keep in mind , in order to get an animation you need to face a Karl, if you are behind him, that will not work

stg 44 is assault rifle that use 7.92*33mm cartridges, but in sniper elite 5 stg 44 it’s smg that shoots 9 mm cartridge . How they massacred my boy💀💀💀

Bit late but Invaders can choose to keep their HUD. There's an option to make it match your opponent's setting if you want that challenge.

Very good videos … seem to be really knowledgeable and good at the game I’ve been watching for sometime, wanted to ask you a question? I play on Xbox series s and I cannot for the life of me get a single person run an gun style… and for sniping the absolute second I look down my scope I’m sniped… I’m not sure if I have a console setting rong or ect im new to the game completely I’ve played one other gun game before but this game for some reason is extremely difficult. I play for fun as I’m into the war history ect but i just don’t understand how I’m shot every second in the game it’s pretty comical ..do you have any tips ?

This is a pretty late response but I would suggest not sniping a lot as invader mostly because it’s a very high risk thing to do. I would suggest using close range weapons as Karl’s usually have a slow fire weapons load out meaning you’re almost always going to outshoot or outgun your opponent.
