It being the end is possible but something tells me that while it may be the end of Mr Puzzles in the film he ain't the biggest threat and another figure is the true villain and Mr Puzzles is just a way to get closer to the SMG4 crew

What if the reason Melony hasn't intervened yet is because Mr.Puzzles promised her that he'd bring back Axol if she agreed to not interfere in his plans? It could show a empathetic side of Mr.Puzzles if he fully intended on keeping his promise if Melony didn't interfere as well as showing that Melony's love for Axol is both a strengh and a weakness in a really interesting way.

Pretty sure Tari was the first to technically leave or at least hide from the simulation world. Meggy and Mario for a while did leave the simulation but then it was revaled that they never left and the stuff in the hospital like place (outside of the Tari stuff) was apart of Wren's plan to meet Meggy.

Clench is Tari's robotic arm who's been able to talk for a while ever since the SMG4 video the day my arm went Psycho ( which also is the episode where Tari got a new voice actress but that's a long story in itself)
