modern smg4 just feels... unfunny and boring. That's the best way to describe it. The old SMG4 videos are stupid, with no lore, like it should be! They are funny and aren't boring like the new ones. The only thing that comes close is the SMG4 Crew series, but that's only because they react to fan-submitted videos. Mario feels less stupid, the episodes feels more and more boring with less stupidity. For example, modern SMG4 would never make a "Mario Scratches His Ass" or a "Mario Gets His Pingas Stuck On The Door". Modern SMG4 just feels like it has lost it's charm. Don't get me wrong, I like the lore, but I feel like it's making the SMG4 series be less stupid and less crazy than before.

Here it is. The first SMG4 video I’ve ever watched. It’s amazing to see how much he changed since I first saw him. He went from funny to pure chaos and added a lore to it all, plus many arcs, newest one being “It’s gotta be perfect” (though 3 months later I realized it isn’t really an arc) but time really goes by quickly. It’s already been 4 years of watching him. It’s just so crazy. I really wish I knew him WAAAAY before though.
