Couldn't get enough of this case. I guess I was just shocked on how a person could behave this way. Hope they are able to recoup as much as possible for the victims.

Fantastic, marvellous podcast. I knew a lot of the story already but the way it has been put together really shows an angle I wasn’t aware of, super effort

How could they bungle the investigation by taking hard drive is amazing. It's mind blowing how her husband reacts .

Fabulous podcast. I loved the casual back and forth between the two, almost a tete a tete. Now, to business. The solicitor who wrote Melissa's will [that included the Aspen rental] also had dealings with other shady characters; is she in the firing line of investigators? The runner with the foot seems a bit sus. Three months in the oggin and looks like its been there only two days to a week? Can DNA be falsified? Why was Melissa still using her first husbands surname after marrying the "fuckwit"? Anthony's statement on the steps of the police station sounded rather cryptic and his statement later that she "didnt have a foot to stand on" harkens to his half-wit play-on-words with the name of his musical nom de plume, Paws Off. Likewise the brand of shoe she was wearing and the securities agency, ASIC[s]. There's really only three possibilities; she committed suicide, the husband killed her or she's on the lam. I personally think [by the husbands attitude] that she's alive but the question remains is she so cold-hearted that she'd just walk away from her son? Perhaps she is.

I listened to all ten. and enjoyed everyone. This case has fascinated me and multiple things jumped out at me, but the biggest by far is the body language exhibited by Anthony during his most recent TV interview, when asked if he believed Mellissa was dead; and he replied yes. He doesn't believe it and he lied when he said he did...

Listened to all 10 episodes. Thank you for the hard work put into making this. From Episode 1, AK is definitely guilty by association. He is just as narcissistic as his wife. He is well aware of where the monies came from. Can someone please tell this self entitled moron that none of those funds belonged to his wife, therefore he’s not entitled to anything. All monies recovered belong to the victims. I have never been so appalled at such blatant disrespect that he has shown to all those victims that lost monies that his sorry **** benefitted by. I pray the victims get some compensation back.

I wondered if their mansion was forensically checked for M.c's blood after the foot was found. Their was nothing about that in the various broadcasts about the case. Fascinating case.

I know it sounds gruesome but as a nurse I was wondering about the foot. Was the bone cut straight across or was it jagged as if an animal tore it off? It seems the foot would give some clues.

Its odd to find out Melissa ( & Her husband) have birthdays on 21st April because a person i knew for over 35yrs & found out how she had conned so many people ( i got off lightly considering how much she conned others for) Her birthday? 21st April!! After much thought, i shall stay very clear of anyone with this birthday... are people born on this day, the devils spawn? Its still uncanny! My ex friend? Sadly i still miss her dearly but all i know is since i last saw her 15yrs ago she has travelled & lived in many countries only to disappear from one place to appear on the other side of the world. I can only assume shes still at her game, conning people! Last i heard she was back here in Britain but i didnt bother to find out where, which is perhaps is irresponsible but its still so painful for me & i could not go through with being dragged into her world, if i alerted the authorities of her crimes. Im nearly 70yrs now & not in good health & the stress would be my demise. I want my last years to remain happy with my family. The only good thing is she is also of a similar age & wont be around to keep on conning people. No offence to the many many good honest decent people who were born on 21st April. Just some, are to be very wary of. Melissa C's case facinates me & i loved the 60 Minute Show & all of The shows stories. Since my interest in the case i admire Journalist Kate McClymonts work, shes investigated some excellent cases in her incomparable style! I Lived in Sydney from 1964 to 1972 with my parents & revisited many times over the years & have a huge love for Australia & her amazing people. Great series about M. Caddick Regards & big thanks 🇬🇧👧

It HAS been addressed in the news as well as in one if the earlier episodes of this broadcast. The foot was DNA tested with DNA from Melissa's toothbrush & also from DNA samples taken from her family. They matched.
