I've been away from model railroading for a while now. I never could have dreamed Z scale would have become so advanced. Thank you much for this video.

Awesome doesn't even begin to describe this one boys! I am impressed beyond words. I started a small Z scale layout years ago, and never even completed that. I can't imagine the man hours that went into this project. Kudos!

It's nice to see more American trains in Z Scale. I seem to recall that for the longest time the selection was quite limited as they mainly did German and European trains in Z Scale.

Los trenes escala Z mas chicos que el N . Su gran maqueta tardaron demasiado en hacerla , tiene patios , talleres , fabricas , silos de grano , tuneles , almacenes y paisajes muy detallados .

I really like these small trains, you can do so much in a very small space. I wish i still had my ''N'' scale trains, guess my ex liked them better.

Very nice, thanks. You are obviously a master at creating rocky scenery. Maybe at some point you could do an instructional video to help the rest of us out. Thanks again.

Thanks for the replies. I was curious. When I looked into z scale yrs ago it was VERY expensive.
@sergiovalencia30315 жыл бұрын
Yes you're looking at $200 - $265 per Diesel and $300+ for steam. $2200 for a big boy and $1700 for a Challenger. That's triple or quadruple the price for a Z scale locomotive compared to n scale $65 - $100 per Diesel, $100-350 for a steam with dcc and sound. Rolling stock in N scale $5- $25 per car while in Z scale $25 - $75 per car. Yeah Z is very expensive.
@ad35612 жыл бұрын
thats insane miniaturization . a sound decoder in z? i didnt even think you could run dcc in a z scale setup, sound??? that just insane. z is so small, N is small and Z is tiny. i personally like HO probably the most popular scale, its big enough that you can have great detail but small enough where you can put allot in a fairly small space. i need to build a new HO layout soon. i have several atlas diesels, spectrum steam, and i even have a 2-8-2 broadway limited... i need a layout

What is that parrot like shreiking noise? Please don't tell me that's what Z scale sounds like.
@smholt Жыл бұрын
The AZL engines Are very silent, but the old Marklin engines you can hear in some parts has much more noise. Newer Marklin engines with modern 5-pole engines are more silent. Some Microtrains engines have also similar noise as the old Marklin engines.

the only thing I like about this scale is the amount of stuff you can place in a small area lol but other then that its way to small for me.......I barely like dealing with HO at times lol no way I could deal with Z and I'm sure its expensive!
