What a great arrangement by Imperial. I own a few Imperial rolls myself and they're magnificent. They seem to capture that true 20s vibe.

If I may add Jim when filming these videos if you could turn your phone horizontal so that the whole screen captures your piano

I keep forgetting this is a song from the actual 20s and not something specifically made up for Roger Rabbit.

To be precise it was 1931, written for the Merrie Melodies cartoon of the same name…but close enough :)

Complete lyrics: Let’s all get together with this one thought in mind Make this world a brighter, better place. Tell each blue-nose and gloom-chaser you’ll ever find “Hey there wipe that frown right off your face” Smile, darn ya, smile You know this old world is a great world after all Smile, darn ya, smile And right away watch Lady Luck pay you a call Things are never black as they are painted Time for you and joy to get acquainted Make life worthwhile Come on and smile, darn ya, smile Smile, darn ya, smile For there is nothing that you cannot overcome Smile, darn ya, smile And where the clouds appear you soon will find the sun Life is really only what you make it Step right up and show them you can take it Make life worthwhile Come on smile, darn ya, smile

@@benmarshall404 I mean yeah, I know that lyrics. But I mean the lyrics that starts from 1:44

@@fmsdraws5496 It’s the first bit “Let’s all get together…” etc. Different versions sometimes put them in a different order, or repeat the verse…but to the best of my knowledge those are all the lyrics.

@@benmarshall404 It's definetly not the same lyrics, the letters are different. You can see it in the lyrics on the right

@@fmsdraws5496 This is a bit late, but it looks like it says: "What's the use of walking in shadows each day There's no sense in looking for the rain Here's the surest way to drive the shadows away Follow this advice, it's mighty plain" (then the chorus repeats)
